Hearts lead through Liam Boyce's goal after barely a minute on the clock.

And they could have been further ahead had Ellis Simms hit the target from inside the box.

But the game has been stop-start due to the number of injuries. Hearts have already lost Gary Mackay-Steven, Cammy Devlin and substitute Alex Cochrane, with Dundee United's Ryan Edwards following them up the tunnel after a head knock.

Dundee United have a late chance in the first-half with a short corner played into a good area for Ross Graham, but he heads over the bar.

Slightly bizarre moment as Regan Charles-Cook goes down under a challenge in the middle of the park and immediately grabs the ball for a free kick.

However, the referee hadn't awarded him one, leaving the league's top scorer absolutely incensed as to how he wasn't the one receiving the dead ball.
