We changed things a bit ourselves and made it through.

It was a superb goal from Mal Benning to seal it.

Scorer of Port Vale's third goal Mal Benning speaking to Sky Sports:

"The main thing is we got the win. I'm happy to get the third goal and kill the game off.

"I talked earlier this week about Asians in football and I don’t care it's me, it's not about me, but it’s a massive step today.

"I saw it go into the back of the net and I just thought 'I've scored at Wembley'.

"The gaffer has come back and we’ve rallied around him and he's rallied around us."

You have to learn from your disappointments.

I've worked with managers who make you watch the celebrations just so you know what it would feel like if you won.

I think if Mansfield get here again they'll be on the front foot and play like they have for most of this season.

We haven't seen the real Mansfield Town today - it's hard to be critical because the season has been really productive.

"The cross took a deflection so I had to check back but luckily I got there.

"On another day I could have had a hat-trick but I'll settle for one today.

"I just go into each game as it comes. I try my best to score every game."

I'm utterly lost for words. There's tears everywhere. It's thoroughly deserved.

An awful thing happened to Darrell Clarke this year and you thought has it been written, and it was.

They made crucial decisions over the past month. In the first leg of the play-offs James Wilson's goal was pivotal and they dominated Swindon at home.

Port Vale absolutely dominated the game from start to finish today.

The final whistle blows and Port Vale players and staff pour on to the pitch.

What a goal! The best goal of the three.

Mal Benning runs off his man, who doesn’t track him at all, and it’s a brilliant volley and it puts this game way out of Mansfield’s reach.
