    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

Hang on, how is this not a Huddersfield penalty?

Josh Koroma goes down under a challenge from Richie Smallwood and I mean, he is very clearly IN the area, but the referee gives a free-kick.

Jordan Rhodes hits the set piece into the wall.

Not really seen Rhodes take a free-kick before, doubt I will again on that evidence.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 58 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

    Strengthen when you're strong...

Huddersfield take off midfielder Duane Holmes and bring on striker Fraizer Campbell.

That'll be two up top for the visitors now as they look to find a winner.

  3. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

I can't see the home side getting out of their half much between now and full time.

They've lost their past five games in front of their own fans and it's gonna take a great effort from the 10 men not to make it six in a row tonight.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 55 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

    Oh, that's brilliant goalkeeping!

The ball drops to Josh Koroma about 15 yards out after Jordan Rhodes' header was blocked.

His effort is bound for the bottom corner but Hull goalkeeper Matt Ingram gets down superbly to keep it out. Moments later Rhodes sends a low effort past the post.

ALL Town now against the 10 men.

    Chance!

Town winger Sorba Thomas shows great feet and pace down the right and then drills in a low cross for Jordan Rhodes.

The former Scotland striker shows good movement but his flicked shot is blocked.

  6. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield have failed to score in their past two games.

Hull might be down to 10 men but this won't be an easy task for the Terriers to find the breakthrough.

YorkshirePundit: Was a clear second yellow. Waiting for ref to level it up in the second half by sending Sorba Thomas off.

Wales international Thomas has now been booked 10 times this season.

He's not been sent off this season though it has to be said.

  11. Huddersfield 'have to be careful'published at 20:44 British Summer Time 1 April 2022

    Matthew Glennon
    Former Huddersfield Town goalkeeper

I think the referee has been a little card happy tonight.

I'm not saying he'll be looking to even it up but the Huddersfield players have got to be careful here.

    WELL.

Didn't think I'd have all that much to say here but this game has totally come to life in the final few moments of the half.

First home defender Jacob Greaves got away with a clear handball in the area and then home striker Tom Eaves was sent off for a second bookable offence AND THEN Ollie Turton headed a brilliant chance wide from the resultant free-kick.

Prior to that Hull had had the better of it but now? It's there for play-off chasing Huddersfield to take the points.

  13. Postpublished at 45+3 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

    And now Town should lead!

    It's all going on now!

Sorba Thomas clips in a beautiful free-kick and Ollie Turton is free in the middle of the area but heads wide.

  14. RED CARD - Tom Eaves (Hull City)published at 45+1 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

    This is so daft.

Hull City striker Tom Eaves, booked for a nasty challenge earlier, is sent off for tripping Lewis O'Brien.

    The hosts down to 10.

  15. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

Town are screaming for a penalty here, and they absolutely should have one as well!

Josh Koroma's deep cross is a real tester and Jacob Greaves stoops to head away but gets it all wrong and that is clearly handball.

  16. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield win a corner but the referee blows for a foul by a Town player after the initial ball is half-cleared.

Looks like we'll be goalless at the break.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 40 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

    Now then.

    Bit of a fracas here.

Sorba Thomas of Huddersfield and Brandon Fleming and Keane Lewis-Potter of Hull are all involved.

Thomas and Fleming are both booked.

Lewis-Potter fled the scene quick enough to avoid a yellow card.

  18. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

Brandon Fleming sends in a low cross that Hull striker Tom Eaves can't quite connect with.

Eaves has got himself in miles of space there and maybe should have done better.

  19. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

Hull City forward Keane Lewis-Potter is a real threat.

He switches over to the right and his deep cross wins a corner for the home side.

Town thump it away but Hull keep the pressure on.

  20. Postpublished at 27 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield have been prolific from corners this season and Sorba Thomas delivers some beauties.

The first is headed behind and the second requires Matt Ingram in the home goal to punch it behind as it curls back towards goal.

The third one bounces around and Town defender Harry Toffolo thinks he should have a penalty.

    Referee not interested.
