Hull City have lost their past five at home and scored just once in that time.

They've looked quite lively going forward thus far this evening but, as the scoreline suggests, lacked that cutting edge.

Duane Holmes has Huddersfield's first real sight at goal.

The ball comes to him in the middle of the area but his volleyed effort is well saved by Matt Ingram.

The keeper was off his line to great effect there.

Hull get in down their left and the ball is eventually cut back for Alfie Jones about 15 yards out but his shot isn't cleanly hit and it's cleared away.

Huddersfield then launch an attack of their own down the other end but Sorba Thomas smashes a deep cross miles over everyone waiting in the middle.

Huddersfield are just starting to get a bit more of a foothold in this and move the ball around more.

They've lost their past two games, having been unbeaten in 17 league matches prior to that.

Sorba Thomas clips a free-kick into the area but that's an easy gather for home goalkeeper Matt Ingram.

The camera has just cut to Huddersfield boss Carlos Corberan and it's fair to say he doesn't look massively enamoured by what he's seen so far.

The home side have enjoyed much the better of the opening 12 minutes or so.

Crikey.

Hull City striker Tom Eaves crunches Town defender Levi Colwill near the halfway line.

That's an early booking for the big frontman.

Keane Lewis-Potter steps up and hits the free-kick sweet as you like but Town goalkeeper Lee Nicholls stands strong and turns it away.

The young forward tried to beat the keeper on his side but his positioning was excellent.

Keane Lewis-Potter drives forward from the halfway line and eventually drifts in off the left and sends a right-footed shot across the goal.

Lewis-Potter made his England Under-21 debut in the week so you can understand him being full of confidence.

And, as I say that, he wins a free-kick in a good position.

Hull City win the game's first corner after some nice build up.

The visitors get the ball away at the second time of asking and look to spring a counter-attack.

Both teams looking to get forward in these opening exchanges.

None of the past 10 games between the two have ended goalless...

The last international break of the season is now behind us and it's full steam ahead for the final five weeks of the regular season.

Of course, one of tonight's teams will be hopeful that this campaign will extend beyond 7 May for them.

Huddersfield have been in the play-off spots for basically the whole season but back-to-back defeats have brought the chasing pack a little too close for comfort.

Barring a miraculous run of form from one of the bottom three, Shota Arveladze's charges are just playing for pride at this stage but they recently claimed an impressive 2-0 win at play-off chasing Coventry.
