Arsenal v Man Utd (12:30 BST)

Unlike this current wholesome, sporting, respectful rivalry between Liverpool and Man City, Arsenal and Manchester United is the real deal.

Spiteful, ferocious, nasty, covered in lobbed pizza - it is everything you'd want from a football feud.

Here are some of it's finest aggro moments...

So, that race for a top-four spot.

There have been a few twists and turns of late, with Brighton and Southampton chucking some spanners in the works.

It remains toight... like a toiger.

Arsenal win today and they sneak ahead. Man Utd win and they're right back in it. Tottenham? Well, they will likely be in their usual position of just hoping their north London rivals drop points.

We'll get to all those title-race shenanigans in a bit, though. As important as City's game against Watford is, it doesn't take top billing today.

That honour goes to the latest encounter in a long-standing Premier League rivalry. Arsenal and Manchester United were the Liverpool and Manchester City of the late 1990s and early 2000s, fighting each other for titles, cups and, well, just fighting each other full stop.

Today, though, they go head-to-head for a more humble but still extremely crucial achievement for both - nabbing one of those all-important Champions League spots.

The lunchtime kick-off today gives the fans of each a nerve-wracking, emotional rollercoaster to endure. And the rest of us potentially something to rubberneck at.

  6. Tussle at the toppublished at 11:19 British Summer Time 23 April 2022

Pep Guardiola is under no illusions.

Such is the form of the side breathing down their neck at the top of the Premier League, just one small stumble, a solitary draw, the dropping of two points in any of their remaining six games could be fatal for Manchester City's title defence.

Yet again, England's top two clubs are involved in the most high-pressure of sprint finishes.

This weekend, it is City's turn to go first. In a game everyone expects them to win comfortably. But we all know football can be a funny one when it wants to be. You never know!
