You can't see this ending 2-1; both sides are frail defensively, Man Utd more so.

Every time Saka gets the ball, not only are Man Utd backing off, the fans are getting to their feet there is a real energy about the stadium. Every time Arsenal have caused problems, it has been down this right side and he's had an involvement.

Well, we can't grumble at that for lunchtime entertainment.

This is a great game of football.

Arsenal flew out of the blocks, took complete control, but have had their confidence knocked a bit by a Manchester United side who battled back and are far from out of this.

And now De Gea is called into action!

    Save!

Arsenal look very nervy now. Alex Telles tries to take advantage with a wobbling, dipping shot that Aaron Ramsdale saves but not entirely confidently.

It all came from some awkward play at the back from the home side.

He's always on his feet, pointing, clapping, shouting. He looks like a man who worries. Remarkable that he's kept that hairline.

Andrew Mitchell: United can feel hard done by VAR. Not to say that Arsenal shouldn’t have had the penalty, but it’s hard to understand how Soares blatantly handling was dismissed so quickly when Telles and Saka coming together was worthy of such extensive review.

Manchester United are a danger to Arsenal going forward. Manchester United are a danger to themselves at the back. If they can keep the ball away from their own defence they are right in this game.
