A tough game for Liverpool, frustrating at times. Everton played it extremely well, but that quality Liverpool have shone through in the end. Tactically, Jurgen Klopp brought on Diaz and Origi and it changed the game.

Tough times are ahead for Everton.

Only Steven Gerrard (nine) has scored more Premier League goals for Liverpool against Everton than Divock Origi (six, level with Robbie Fowler).

Jurgen Klopp goes to the Liverpool fans and gives a few fist pumps. They're all loving it.

It is silly, petulant from Richarlison. Why he feels he has to do that is beyond me. He's lucky that is a yellow, I'm surprised it isn't a red.

What a pick out from Jordan Henderson. He stands it up; Diaz goes for the overhead kick, into the floor and Origi isn't missing from there.

What a record he's got against Everton and for big goals at big moments. That should be game over.

Divock Origi has scored six goals for Liverpool against Everton, at least twice as many as against any other opponent in his career for the Reds.

Liverpool almost wrap it up. Mohamed Salah runs onto Jordan Henderson's ball over the top and cuts in. He lays it off for Thiago, whose shot takes a big deflection off Seamus Coleman and is clawed away by the diving Jordan Pickford.

Liverpool solidify things now as captain Jordan Henderson replaces Diogo Jota. They had made that attacking change earlier at 0-0.

Mohamed Salah crosses and Mason Holgate clears... or rather that's the plan. Holgate actually slices it and Jordan Pickford catches it behind him.
