Rhys: Leeds fans booing Tierney makes zero sense. If Tierney was doing his job properly Leeds would be worse off. Dallas injured himself with a needless lunge because Tierney was letting them get away with it.

  7. 'They are devastated'published at 18:25 British Summer Time 30 April 2022

    FT: Watford 1-2 Burnley

    Watford

More from Ray Lewington, speaking to Sky Sports: "I must admit you saw the fear factor that exists at this place, I don't know why because the crowd were terrific - it is a consequence of losing so many games that with the finish line in sight we kept getting deeper and deeper.

"Confidence was low when we got here, they were down the bottom and had not won for a long time, you could see it - we tried to get them better organised and they have done better in games, but we have missed some chances that you can't do in the Premier League and let in some sloppy goals, it is not a recipe to do well.

"They are devastated and we are basically playing for our pride now."
