Some relatively breaking news to bring you.

Veteran boss Neil Warnock has announced his retirement at the age of 73.

The former *insert about a dozen clubs here* gaffer was sacked by Middlesbrough in November.

A lifelong Blade, who guided the club to the Premier League in 2006, he has managed more games in English league football than anyone else.

Although he may say he's retired he's previously said he's got one last job in him about six times, so don't be shocked if he's back in an EFL dug-out come August!

All the best in retirement Neil.

Sheff Utd v Bournemouth (12:45 BST)

Zero messing around from Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom. Same team and same subs from Tuesday's win over QPR.

Tricky forward Siriki Dembele comes into the Bournemouth XI.

Sheff Utd v Bournemouth (12:45 BST)

We've reached the stage of the season where clubs vying for promotion can't afford to slip up.

Sixth-placed Sheffield United have just six games to play as they look to secure an immediate return to the Premier League through the play-offs.

Second-placed Bournemouth, who have eight matches left, are hoping to win promotion back to the top flight in a more straightforward fashion.

However, they lost meekly at West Brom on Wednesday and with Nottingham Forest coming like a train they can ill-afford another reverse today.

After the action at Bramall Lane's wrapped up we've got nine Championship games and the full complement in Leagues One and Two.

    Let's get going.
