That's as far as we go in here tonight.

We started the day with a 2-0 win for Huddersfield at Middlesbrough and ended it with Nottingham Forest dismantling 10-man West Brom.

In the middle Derby were relegated to League One after Reading pulled off a remarkable comeback to draw 4-4 with Swansea, having been 4-1 down.

We're back tomorrow at 19:30 BST as Fulham look to secure promotion back to the Premier League and the top three in League One are all in action to boot.

Thanks for your company across the course of today and enjoy the rest of your evening.

Contrast that with the emotions down the road in Nottingham.

The Reds secured their sixth successive home win with a thumping 4-0 victory over 10-man West Brom.

Steve Cooper's men are fifth and bound for at least a play-off place.

    Derby relegated

    DerbyImage source, Rex Features

It's been an action-packed day in the EFL and for Derby, a day to remember for all the wrong reasons.

The Rams fell to a 1-0 defeat at QPR to confirm their relegation to the Championship after Reading fought back from 4-1 down to draw 4-4 with Swansea.

Manager Wayne Rooney has said he intends to stay on at the administration-hit side, who were deducted 21 points at the start of the season and remain without an owner.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Jack Colback initially says he "100%" meant his wonder strike for Forest's third goal, before smiling and saying he was hitting it "towards" goal.

His team-mate James Garner added: "I'm not sure if he meant it but I know he's got the technique."

    The jury's out.

Give this post a thumbs up if you think he meant it and down for incredible effort but maybe got a bit lucky.

Kev Whadcoat: Obviously I would love it if we go up but after years of disappointment being a Forest fan, I'm so happy with what super Cooper and the team have done. Whatever happens, we have a fantastic manager and a great fanbase. The future is bright!

Detective Mittens: West Brom were sixth when Bruce came in. Based on results since he started, they'd be 18th. How does he keep getting jobs?

Mike: Referee is disgraceful, overrules his linesman incorrectly, allows the throw to be taken from 10 yards further down the pitch which leads to the second goal - appalling.

Mike rightly aggrieved about the throw in that helped set up the second Forest goal that should have gone Albion's way. But the 10-man visitors were totally blown away tonight.

Strong words as ever from Detective Mittens.

So Nottingham Forest's win means Fulham aren't up now. But they will be if they beat Preston at Craven Cottage today.

The teams in second, third, fourth and fifth all won today, while sixth-placed Sheffield United drew.

What is it they say about the cream rising to the top?

Nottingham Forest consolidate fifth-place with a very comfortable win over beleaguered West Brom, for whom everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.

The Baggies started well but then had Darnell Furlong sent off for a second bookable offence when he handled in the area and Brennan Johnson slotted home the resultant penalty.

It was 2-0 when Ryan Yates headed home from a corner but the visitors were rightly aggrieved after the referee wrongly over-ruled his assistant to give a throw in to the Reds in the build-up.

Jack Colback made it 3-0 just before the break with an OUTRAGOUES finish on the volley from down by the corner flag in the left-back position. Did he mean it? His reaction suggested not.

Forest coasted the second-half as Albion chased shadows and then Sam Surridge smashed in a fourth with the last kick of the game.

Fulham's inevitable promotion remains on ice. But a win against Preston tomorrow will see them confirm their return to the Premier League.

The 12th-placed Baggies wont be making the same return trip this season.

There's that mini egg on the cake I was talking about...

Philip Zinckernagel plays Sam Surridge in on goal with a measured pass and with probably the last touch of the game he lashes it in off the crossbar from 15 yards out.

Great finish and great day for Forest.

The home side are ending the match with a series of attacks.

A fourth goal now would be the... mini egg (?) on the top of the cake.

Into three minutes of time added on.

After which I will be cracking into my own Easter egg. Yes, I am aware of the time. And my age.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 86 mins

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 West Brom

West Brom's discipline tonight has been terrible.

Matt Phillips thinks he should have at least a throw in if not a free-kick but the decision goes the other way (not the first time Albion have been wronged like that this evening...)

The Scotland international petulantly smashes the ball away. He's now the second Baggies player to be booked for that.

Nottingham Forest take off Djed Spence and Ryan Yates. Pretty decent night's work for both.

Richie Laryea is on for his debut (a pretty good situation to be put into for your first game) and Cafu is also on.

    Not that one.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 74 mins

    Couple of subs.

West Brom take off the forlorn Andy Carroll and bring on Matt Phillips.

The home side take off Scott McKenna and bring on Steve Cook.

No, he tries to tee up Sam Surridge and the chance goes.

When these two teams last met in November Forest were 13th and Albion were third. Forest are now fifth and Albion are 12th.

Steve Cooper took over when the Reds were at the foot of the table in September and the turn around in form he has overseen at the City Ground is staggering.

Forest haven't been in the Premier League since 1999. Could that long wait for top tier football be coming to an end?

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 West Brom

Forest launch a counter-attack after West Brom give the ball away on the halfway line.

Red shirts pour forward but Jack Colback overhits his attempted ball for Brennan Johnson.

    Stick to scoring screamers, Colback.

  18. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 West Brom

What a perfect response this has been for Forest after losing 1-0 at Luton on Friday.

Striker Keinan Davis suffered a season-ending hamstring injury in that game and it would have been easy for them to have dropped off today.

None of it. They weathered some early Albion pressure and from about 10 minutes in they have totally dominated this match.

Mark Whittle: This is shaping up to be the best end of season for a long time. So much to be decided in every league: this is what the game's about!

David Colledge: Just tuned in and thought it was Wolves Under-18s v Forest.

David really rubbing salt into West Brom wounds there (I'm sure Wolves Under-18s are a talented bunch)...
