    Another Blackpool corner routine catches them out. As the ball bounces around the area, Birmingham defenders are like statues but Jake Beesley isn't.

    He reacts quickly after Callum Connolly's effort is saved by Zach Jeacock to make it four and grab his second of the afternoon.

    Without wishing to anger Birmingham fans any further, if it was not for points deductions, they would be in the Championship's bottom three.

    Maxime Colin came on at the break for Jordan Graham while Lyle Taylor has been denied by Chris Maxwell as he tries to pull one back.

    Not been much chance in this second half for Reading to reduce the deficit.

    Swansea keeping the ball well just as they did for the majority of the first half.

    A big half-time team talk was required from Tony Mowbray for Blackburn. They just have not been the same team since Christmas and need a stirring 45 minutes to put pressure on Sheffield United.

    And now Millwall do lead with a huge stroke of fortune.

    The ball is played back to Scott Malone on the edge of the area and he totally miscontrols it but the Hull clearance hits him and flies into the bottom corner.

    Benik Afobe has a great chance to give the Lions the lead but his close range shot is kept out by Nathan Baxter in the Tigers goal.

    Nearly a perfect start to the second half for the home side.

  12. Injury concerns for Hatters

    HT: Cardiff 0-0 Luton

    It's not been a great half for play-off chasing Luton and to make matters worse they've lost the two Jameses - Shea and Bree - through injury.

    They have been replaced by two Harrys - reserve goalkeeper Isted and forward Cornick.

    Bree had already gone off before Shea suffered a collision with one of his own players and was not fit to continue.

    The Hatters have had it tough with injuries in the last couple of months, so it makes their results even more impressive.

    • Second-placed Exeter trail 1-0 at play-off hopefuls Tranmereand Sutton lead at home to Newport.

    • Salford lead Barrow 1-0 as they look to push for the top seven and Colchester are two goals to the good at home to Bradford City.
