    QPR 0-0 Derby

Derby gave their survival hopes a massive shot in the arm by beating league leaders Fulham on Friday.

They could really do with a late goal in this to boost their attempts to stay in the second tier.

  2. goal

GOAL: Reading 3-4 Swansea Citypublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 18 April 2022

    Lucas Joao (71 mins)

    And now it is 3-4!

Lucas Joao finally does get himself a second of the afternoon after a massive goalmouth melee in Swansea's six-yard box sees him stab it home.

    Ridiculous game.

    Reading 2-4 Swansea City

Lucas Joao volleys narrowly over for Reading from a well-worked free-kick.

How many more goals will this one produce?

Just over 20 minutes left to play.

    Coventry City 0-3 Bournemouth

20 minutes to play in this one and a welcome return to winning ways seemingly it will be for Bournemouth.

They of course will still have five games to play after this one, but it will re-establish their four-point buffer over Huddersfield.

  5. A goal on the way?published at 16:27 British Summer Time 18 April 2022

    Cardiff 0-0 Luton

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium

There is no breakthrough yet at the Cardiff City Stadium, but the signs in the early stages of the second half are that a goal may be on the way.

Luton have showed more attacking intent, coming close through Robert Snodgrass, while Cardiff's Isaak Davies should have done better on the counter.

Whatever the result today, this game looks like coming at a cost to Luton.

Fred Onyedinma has just been forced off injured for a Hatters side who lost James Bree and goalkeeper James Shea to injury before the break.

    Millwall 2-0 Hull City

Millwall are in the mood now and with the other play-off hopes in decidedly indifferent form they could yet sneak sixth place.

Benik Afobe's shot hits the side-netting as they look to put the cherry on the top of this particular cake.

  7. Postpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 18 April 2022

    Blackburn 0-1 Stoke

Midway through the half and still little sign of a Blackburn comeback.

Tony Mowbray has just made a second change and sent on John Buckley. Joe Rothwell came on at half-time, but still no Bradley Dack.

Surely he would be the man to find a goal when you most need it?

    Barnsley 0-1 Peterborough

Barnsley striker Cauley Woodrow, returning to action after a spell on the sidelines injured, is played in by Amine Bassi but David Cornell is equal to his shot.

    Reading 2-4 Swansea City

    So nearly 3-4!

Reading still giving it everything in this one.

Lucas Joao almost feeds the ball back into the danger area for a finish but neither Junior Hoilett nor Andy Yiadom can arrive in time to get on the end of it.

  10. goal

GOAL: Blackpool 4-1 Birminghampublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 18 April 2022

    Ivan Sunjic (63 mins)

    One back for Birmingham.

Onel Hernandez gets away down the left, gets into the box and pulls it back for Ivan Sunjic to slide it home.

  11. goal

GOAL: Reading 2-4 Swansea Citypublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 18 April 2022

    Tom Ince (61 mins)

Or are we done and dusted here?

Tom Ince reduces the deficit for Reading with a neat volleyed finish from Junior Hoilett's cross from the left.

    Still plenty of time left.

  12. League Two updatepublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 18 April 2022

Omari Patrick has broken the deadlock for Carlisle at home to promotion-chasing Mansfield.

Stevenage are doing their survival chances no harm, taking the lead at already relegated Scunthorpe through Jamie Reid.

    Cardiff 0-0 Luton

A couple of opportunities early in the second half at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Robert Snodgrass' curling effort is kept out by Dillon Phillips for Luton.

But Isaak Davies misses a fine chance for the home side as he blazes over after fine work from Manchester City loanee Tommy Doyle.

That scoreline at Reading, where Swansea now lead 4-1, is giving hope to all three of the teams currently in the Championship relegation zone.

    Barnsley 0-1 Peterborough

Barnsley have a free-kick in a very promising position but Callum Styles sends it about 10 yards over the crossbar.

I'll say with some confidence he wont get to take the next one.

  16. goal

GOAL: Reading 1-4 Swansea Citypublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 18 April 2022

    Michael Obafemi (58 mins)

    Game. Set. Match.

Derby, Peterborough and Barnsley will live to fight another day for certain now as Swansea make it 4-1 at Reading.

Michael Obafemi extends their lead just before the hour mark.

Joel Piroe the provider that time as he plays him through into space to finish it off from 12 yards.

  18. goal

GOAL: Millwall 2-0 Hull Citypublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 18 April 2022

    Tom Bradshaw (55 mins)

    This has escalated quickly.

Benik Afobe plays Tom Bradshaw in on goal and he makes no mistake to make it 2-0.

The Lions are just outside the play-off places now.

A third goal for Bournemouth and a second for Dominic Solanke should wrap this one up for Bournemouth.

A lovely low finish on his right across the face of goal after being played into space by Ryan Christie.

    Coventry City 0-2 Bournemouth

Coventry still pushing to try and find a way back into this one.

Viktor Gyokeres remaining lively but his latest shot is deflected wide off Lloyd Kelly for a corner that comes to nothing for the hosts.
