The last ten minutes, Braga have shown some really nice passages of play. That's the third attack that Braga have looked dangerous from. The touch from Medeiros is nothing short of exquisite.

    Great finish.

It's silky football all round from Braga. There's a pass from the right wing inside Calvin Bassey to Iuri Medeiros, who cushions a great ball to Ruiz.

The former Barcelona man takes one touch and dispatches the ball in at Allan McGregor's near post.

  4. YELLOW CARD (Ryan Jack)published at 38 mins

    Braga 0-0 Rangers

Ryan Jack scythes down Ali Al-Musrati in the middle of the pitch. He joins Braga's Carmo in the referee's book.

Braga's free kick is headed clear by Leon Balogun. Corner, though.

In the aftermath of that VAR non-goal, an incident of some sort has occurred in the bottom tier on the far side.

Rangers fans are up above in the top tier, but there's a fair amount of movement in the stand below among the home supporters.

It's hard to see for sure what has happened. There are stewards in the area still as some fans have spilled out into the stairways.

  6. Kent in the moodpublished at 33 mins

    Braga 0-0 Rangers

A ball over the top is plucked from the sky by Ryan Kent, and he looks to be through. But Jan Couto gets back and forces him to check his run, and then the Braga full-back gets a foot in to steal the ball.

Did he catch Kent first? The referee says no. Moments later and Kent sets up Fashion Sakala in the box, but the striker blazes his effort way over.

It looks like a pretty straightforward one, Ryan Jack does get caught. Rangers need to take that warning.

  8. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 27 mins

    Braga 0-0 Rangers

Hang on, it is another reprieve for Rangers!

Andre Horta's smashed in a shot which deflected past Allan McGregor. But the referee consulted the monitor and says Ryan Jack was fouled by Fabiano in the build up.

He does catch him! A good use of VAR by the officials.

The best chance of the game!

Braga move the ball from right to left, and eventually get a cut back away to tee up their top scorer Ricardo Horta, who side-foots the ball off a post from about 12 yards out!

  11. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 23 mins

    Braga 0-0 Rangers

David Carmo totally wipes out Glen Kamara as he raced clear for Rangers!

There was a covering defender so it's just a yellow card but what a clumsy challenge.

Rangers take the free kick and then earn a corner, but James Tavernier sends it well over the top of any of his team-mates.

    Braga 0-0 Rangers

Braga defend the free kick, and eventually steal the ball back.

Calvin Bassey is forced to defend a counter in the middle of the pitch and lumps the ball out.

Rangers' delivery hasn't been good enough so far, despite their possession.

  13. Postpublished at 19 mins

Fabiano Silva brings down Glen Kamara on the left side of Braga's box. A great chance for Rangers to deliver the ball here.

John Lundstram is a man transformed for Rangers in the second half of the season.

He drives forward and steals the ball of the edge of the Braga box. Nothing comes of it but Lundstram is squeezing the game from the base of midfield.

It's a very excitable crowd in here. Every time Braga cross the half-way line a ripple of applause follows the team. We have started to see flickers of one-touch passes and phases of play from the hosts on the edge of the Rangers box, but the Scots have stood firm.

Fashion Sakala stretches his legs for the first time after running in behind from a throw in.

He drives to the byeline and earns a corner. It's wasted though as Rangers try to go short. Disappointing.

A Braga fan has decided to pay tribute to Allan McGregor on his 100th European appearance for Rangers.

There must be a story behind that one!

Ryan Kent looks up for it tonight! He skips past two men before spreading the play to Scott Arfield on the right.

Arfield's cross towards Fashion Sakala is cut out though. Good intent from Kent.

Sloppy from the visitors as Connor Goldson misplaces a pass out and allows Braga to build a nice move, which the Rangers' defence manages to eventually shut down.

Braga goalkeeper Matheus is down and looks uncomfortable. A change needed?
