Better from Killie as Brad Lyons has two crosses cleared from the near post.
It wins the hosts a corner but the away side deal with it.

That goal has sucked the life out the home support.
All the noise is coming from the travelling fans behind Derek Gaston's goal.

Killie wanted a foul in the lead up to that Arbroath opener.
The home side were screaming for a free-kick for a sliding challenge by Chris Hamilton on Brad Lyons on the edge of the visitors' box.
John Beaton had a great view of it but waved play on.

Quote MessageWow! What a run from Scott Stewart and what a cool finish from Craigen. Unbelievable start from Arbroath.
James Craigen
First blood Arbroath!
The visitors break forward in scintillating fashion as Scott Stewart plays a lovely one-two with Luke Donnelly before rolling the ball across goal.
And James Craigen is there to scuff a finish into the far corner. What a move.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Arbroath
Big, big save from Derek Gaston.
Fraser Murray gets to the byeline again and his low ball is struck towards goal by Kyle Lafferty.
But the Arbroath keeper gets a huge foot to the effort.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Arbroath
Killie hack away the corner at the second attempt and look to counter but Arbroath hold firm as Fraser Murray's cross is dealt with.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Arbroath
The visitors can be very satisfied with their first few minutes.
Any fears about nerves for Dick Campbell's men look non-existent as they win another corner.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Arbroath
Good start from Arbroath who win an early corner through a deflected strike from Nicky Low.
In the corner comes and Zach Hemming punches it away unconvincingly.
A second cross comes into the box and again Hemming is all over the place but the ball goes out for a goal kick.

Aaaaaand we're off!
The players are out to a huge roar from the 11,000-strong crowd.

Quote MessageI would love to see it go to that final day. 'Helicopter Friday' - I don't think we've had one yet in Scottish football! The fairytale of Arbroath has kept everyone in it this season and it's been brilliant to see.

Quote MessageKilmarnock have got the quality of player to do it. Kyle Lafferty is a match-winner for me. He's the guy they'll be looking at to turn up, turn the heat on and produce his best performance. They do not want this going into next week.

The romance around Arbroath's push for the top flight has almost overshadowed the importance of this for Killie.
The Ayrshire club will be portrayed as the pantomime villains tonight, but it's absolutely imperative Derek McInnes guides his side back to the Premiership at the first attempt.
It hasn't been as straightforward a season as most expected for the Rugby Park outfit, but they will hope victory tonight will bring an end to a difficult year for the club after relegation last term.
Kilmarnock v Arbroath (19:45)
To give some context as to why there's an Arbroath supporters club in every part of the globe this season, it's simply down to the nature of their story.
When Dick Campbell took charge at Gayfield in March 2016, the Angus side were second-bottom of Scotland's fourth tier.
Six years and two promotions later, the Championship's only part-time club are two wins away from the Premiership.
It really is fairytale stuff, orchestrated by one of the most loved men in the Scottish game.
Kilmarnock v Arbroath (19:45)
Killie fans, you might have sold out your home allocation but it looks like the entire football world is against you.
That just makes things sweeter if your side does the business tonight, doesn't it?
