That's all from us on a night when Fulham secured their Premier League promotion with victory in front of their supporters at Craven Cottage.

Fulham defender Tim Ream told BBC Radio 5 Live:

"To do it at home in front of our fans, the way we did it storming that first half - there are not many better feelings.

"It's been a breath of fresh air to be honest when Marco Silva came in, absolutely incredible.

"He's come in and brought his own philosophy of attacking football and you look at the amount we score, he's just an all around very good manager and someone we needed at the club at that time.

Asked whether Aleksandar Mitrovic can do it in the Premier League: "Of course he can, we all believe he can and that's all that matters.

"He believes he can and Marco believes he can - when you have the belief of your manager anything is possible."

Dave: Unpopular decision, but Fulham should sell Mitrovic and invest in the squad, in order to secure survival...

Wesley Nsomba: Based on how Man United played tonight, Fulham have a better chance of staying up.

Rob W: It’s a better Fulham squad than our last promotion side, and we had no time to make signings the last time we went up during the Covid play-offs. That said, make the same defensive mistakes again tactically as last time and we’ll struggle.

Fulham crushed Preston to seal their Premier League return as Aleksandar Mitrovic's double took his season's tally to 40 goals.

The Serbian striker netted twice in the first half, sandwiching an eye-catching strike by teenager Fabio Carvalho.

While there will be plenty of praise for Aleksandar Mitrovic, Fulham are far from a one man team, with 'Captain America' Tim Ream one of many players who has had an excellent season.

The questions though remain the same. What lessons have the club learned from previous promotions to ensure they stay up this time? Are the players who have got them up good enough to keep them up? And will any new additions be the right fit for the challenge ahead?

The Fulham players are out to celebrate with their fans, who are back in the stands.

The champagne corks are off, the music is on and the party can begin - they'll go on long into the night in west London!

This time they celebrate at their Craven Cottage home, not at Wembley, they don't need to worry about the play-offs this year, and they can now start to prepare for next season back in the Premier League.

He'll never forget and the Fulham fans will never forget what he's done this season.

People around the country will remember - that's a lot of goals - and fair play to him.

He seems a different player to what he was in the Premier League and I'm hoping he can take that forward.

He has a very modern style and he was terrific tonight.

When Marco Silva became the new Fulham manager, he knew he was taking on the job of leading the team straight back to the Premier League.

His first task was to rebuild a squad that had been heavily reliant on loans under Scott Parker in the top flight. But also to rebuild the confidence of players who will have felt they hadn't performed as they'd hoped, or hadn't been given the chance, during another relegation season.

New signing Harry Wilson made an instant impact with a goal on the opening day. While a 5-1 win in Fulham's first away match at Huddersfield provided an early indication of just what the team might achieve.

That big victory also included a first goal of many for Aleksandar Mitrovic and one from young star Fabio Carvalho, as he began to make headlines that are set to lead to a big move to Liverpool.

Wilson looks to have been the best of the new additions, with Silva ultimately relying on the old guard to get the results.

It's all over! Absolute scenes!

The fans are on the pitch, they're congratulating the players who have taken them back to the Premier League - they've been absolutely engulfed by their fans!

Fulham are back in the top league at the first time of asking. They've followed promotion, relegation, promotion and relegation with yet another promotion.

Two goals from Aleksandar Mitrovic and one from Fabio Carvalho have done it tonight for them but it is one very small part of a long and quite amazing season, in which they've scored 98 goals and their star striker has 40 - and counting!

Fulham look to add some gloss to the scoreline in added time.

Captain Tom Cairney finds Harry Wilson, who goes for the curler but he's leaning back and it goes over.

Max Power has scored to pull Wigan back to 2-2 at Ipswich.

Another goal and, as it stands - with MK Dons losing - they will be promoted to the Championship.

Not long left.

Two minutes of added time.

Now the top three in League One are ALL losing on their travels.

Billy Bodin has put Oxford ahead against third-placed MK Dons in the 86th-minute.

That score means Wigan would have gone up with victory tonight - but they're 2-1 down at Ipswich.

A win for Oxford would keep them in the play-off race.

Preston give the ball away and suddenly Fulham are baring down on them just as they did so many times in the first half.

Neeskens Kebano runs at the defence and tries to pick out his teammate Jean Michael Seri. Preston have enough players back to cut the ball out, could Kebano have gone on his own there? Maybe.

Fulham are seven minutes away from a Premier League return and those chants of "We are going up!" are loud around the stadium now.

It's a surprise it's taken this long!
