    Harry Toffolo (45 mins)

I said he marauds forward well!

Harry Toffolo slides in at the back stick to score his fourth of the season from Danel Sinani's cross.

The marking from the away side is... lax.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Barnsley

Jon Russell's header from a quality Harry Toffolo cross is straight at Jack Walton in the Tykes goal.

Got up well and maybe should have scored to be fair.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Barnsley

Nice moment here as the game is briefly brought to a halt to allow Terriers defender Naby Sarr to break his Ramadan fast.

Both teams use the chance to come over to the sidelines and take on some instructions.

    Five minutes until the break.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Barnsley

Huddersfield come close to a second!

Harry Toffolo gets forward so well from left-back and his low shot is well saved by Jack Walton in the Barnsley goal.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Barnsley

Credit where it is due, Barnsley have grown into this after that wretched start.

They've got to win to keep their survival bid going another day and, right now, that doesn't seem as unfeasible as it did about 20 minutes ago when it looked like Town could run up a cricket score.

On the subject of cricket, you can catch up with all today's County Championship action here, should that be your bag.

Now Barnsley do test Lee Nicholls.

The ball comes over to Amine Bassi on the left of the Town area and he makes a decent connection with the bouncing ball but straight at Nicholls.

Some really nice interplay between Amine Bassi and Domingos Quina opens Town up down the home side's right and the Tykes have another corner.

Bassi tries to hang it back for Quina on the edge of the area but it's cleared.

This is much better from the Tykes.

I was just typing out that they were being dominated across the pitch before this little salvo shows that maybe there is some life left in them.

They're yet to test Lee Nicholls in the home goal though.

Barnsley finally put together a bit of possession and win a couple of corners.

Huddersfield Town have scored 59 league goals this season.

Tonight's header from Jordan Rhodes takes their tally scored from set pieces to 21.

Talk about playing to your strengths.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Barnsley

Huddersfield midfielder Jon Russell makes two mis-timed tackles in about 40 seconds in the middle of the park.

Referee lets him off but I'd imagine he'll be seeing yellow for his next one.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Barnsley

Huddersfield are playing with the kind of swagger you'd expect from a side third in the table.

Harry Toffolo marauds forward and wins a corner down the Town left.

Unlike the first corner of the evening, the Tykes manage to get this one clear.

  13. Postpublished at 14 mins

    Huddersfield 1-0 Barnsley

Barnsley are living on their nerves here.

Danel Sinani picks up the ball between the lines and is allowed to advance on goal.

He doesn't get the cleanest strike on the bouncing ball and it's blocked but they can't be letting a player of his skill just have a free shot like that.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Barnsley

Ooooh, that should be a penalty.

Liam Kitching makes a right mess of clearing his lines and Duane Holmes picks his pocket to whip in a brilliant cross towards Jordan Rhodes.

The Scotland international is CLEARLY pulled to the ground by a Tykes defender but the assistant referee and referee are both unmoved.

I mean, this is just a disastrous start for Barnsley isn't it?

Remember, they HAVE to win or they will be relegated to League One this evening.

They'd barely had a kick of the ball when Town scored.

    Jordan Rhodes (4 mins)

And he has given them the lead!

Two in two for Jordan Rhodes.

Danel Sinani's corner deflects off a Barnsley player and Rhodes heads in from about a yard out.

The assistant thought he was offside, the referee overrules him.

Barnsley's very, very difficult task just got more difficult.

Now then. Jordan Rhodes thinks he has headed Town into the lead but the assistant has his flag up...

Referee off for a chat. Let's see...

    Huddersfield 0-0 Barnsley

First chance of the evening goes the way of the hosts.

Duane Holmes has a dip and Liam Kitching gets enough of a block on it to deflect it over for a corner.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Barnsley

It has to be said that Barnsley have not brought the usual size of contingent they would.

You can understand Tykes fans choosing not to make the trip after a season where they've won just six games and look very likely to be relegated at some stage this weekend.
