Huddersfield boss Carlos Corberan makes two changes from the impressive 2-0 win at Middlesbrough on Easter Monday. It is not yet known how serious influential winger Sorba Thomas' knee injury is.

Barnsley skipper Cauley Woodrow comes in for his first start since December, following injury.

It's been a scarcely believable season for Huddersfield Town's fans.

The Terriers endured two seasons of struggle in the Championship following their two-year spell in the Premier League and this season was expected to be more of the same.

However, boss Carlos Corberan has instead had the team challenging at the top end of the table for practically the entire campaign.

With Bournemouth facing a tricky looking end to the season, Town - who have lost twice since the end of November - could yet go up automatically if they can end the season with three successive wins.

Last week's damaging defeat by fellow strugglers Peterborough means Barnsley, with six league wins all season, must win their final four matches to have any chance of staying up.

Stranger things have happened, but not much stranger.

Even victory at the John Smith's this evening will be for nought if Reading beat Hull City on Saturday.

It's a heck of a fall from grace for a team who finished fifth in the Championship last season.

It's a pretty straightforward scenario for Barnsley this evening, fail to beat Huddersfield Town and they will be relegated to League One.

It's been a disastrous season for the Tykes, featuring just six wins from 42 league games so far and, in all honesty, their relegation is now almost certainly a case of when not if.

For Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield things could scarcely be more different.

The Terriers are riding high in third in the table and a win tonight would close the gap on second-placed Bournemouth to just one point, albeit having played three games more.

Good evening and welcome to live text of Huddersfield Town v Barnsley.
