    Luton 1-0 Blackpool

CJ Hamilton is tripped in the box and the away side have a spot-kick!

It's a great run from the Seasiders' winger and Dan Potts dives in to try and stop him from getting a shot off.

The replays show there maybe wasn't that much contact but as all defenders know, if you go to ground in the area like that you give the referee a decision to make.

So far, so good for Luton.

The home side took the lead after just two minutes through Elijah Adebayo's deflected strike.

Since the the away side have probably had the better of it but without testing Hatters goalkeeper Harry Isted.

A victory here would all-but secure a play-off spot for Luton.

  8. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Luton 1-0 Blackpool

Luton skipper Sonny Bradley looks like he might have tweaked his hamstring in just heading a long ball back to his goalkeeper.

It would be a real blow for the Hatters if he can't carry on.

Into three minutes of time added on now.

  9. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Luton 1-0 Blackpool

Keshi Anderson flashes an effort over the bar after neat approach play from the away side.

He thinks it took a nick and should be a corner. The referee disagrees.

  10. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Luton 1-0 Blackpool

Luton full-back Peter Kioso win a free-kick for not very much off Blackpool defender Richard Keogh down in the corner.

    Keogh's fuming at the decision.

Robert Snodgrass's delivery is headed away the near post with Hatters players queuing up at the back stick.

What a cross that is from Robert Snodgrass.

The veteran curls in a beauty of a delivery on his left foot for Harry Cornick to head home but the Luton forward sends it over the bar.

    Eesh.

Harry Cornick lines up a long throw and then changes his mind to go short to Amari'i Bell.

He looks to pop it back to his Hatters team-mate and passes it out of play.

    Luton 1-0 Blackpool

Luton goalkeeper Harry Isted is off his line well to catch a cross into the area. He inadvertently clashes with team-mate Dan Potts as he gathers and the defender is needing a bit of treatment.

Looked a sore one but he looks like he'll be ok to continue. They're taking their time as they rightly should.

  14. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Luton 1-0 Blackpool

It's a blustery day down in Bedfordshire, conditions you'd expect to be more suited to the Seasiders.

They've responded pretty well to conceding that very early goal to Elijah Adebayo and will feel they've got a chance to take something from this game.

James Husband sends in a dangerous free-kick for the visitors that Gary Madine heads off target but the offside flag goes up.

    First booking of the day.

Kenny Dougall crunches Kai Naismith on the halfway line for no real reason and the Blackpool man is booked.

    Daft challenge.

  17. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Luton 1-0 Blackpool

Great chance for a second for the home side!

The Seasiders half clear a free-kick but the recycled ball is popped perfectly into Harry Cornick on the edge of the area.

He takes a good first touch and fires a powerful attempt at goal that Chris Maxwell stands up well to.

I'm not sure what the pass completion has been in this game so far but I'd venture it's quite low...

Blackpool on the front foot at the moment as they look for a response and that's a good catch from home goalkeeper Harry Isted from a testing cross.

  19. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Luton 1-0 Blackpool

Oooh, that's a chance for the visitors.

Callum Connolly's long throw misses the crowd at the near post and then nearly bounces perfectly for Gary Madine to score at the back post.

He just can't quite read the flight of it and it goes by.

Sam Burgess: I'd quietly said to family at the beginning of the season, that I thought the Hatters could get a play-off spot. It's one thing saying it, and another it happening, but win today and it's nearly in the bag!
