A good spell of passing sees Ryan Hedges played through and, just before he can get his shot away inside the Preston box, Daniel Johnson puts the tackle in to clear the danger.

Hedges is in some discomfort and receives some treatment but he's back on his feet.

Having watched that John Buckley goal again, what I really enjoyed was how he picked up the ball, looked towards goal and gave a look that screamed 'I'll have a go but it's not going in'.

It was a low shot, but it was fast. Should Daniel Iversen have done better? You be the judge.

For me the Preston goalkeeper and defence weren't expecting the shot.

It took everyone, including Daniel Iversen, by surprise but it flew across the turf and snuck in.

What a quality strike - if you're a goalkeeper low shots hurt you.

Sepp van den Berg is on hand to keep the scoreline to 1-0 as Preston just narrowly avoid conceding from the restart.

Once again, Blackburn send a free-kick into the Preston box and Van den Berg heads it away for a corner JUST before Scott Wharton can get on the end of it.

What a header from Ben Brereton Diaz in the first place, unbelievable.

Sam Gallagher's reaction was brilliant - he wasn't standing about, he was in the starting blocks to get the diving header in.

Preston win a free-kick early on in this game following a foul on Greg Cunningham.

Ben Whiteman sends it into the box but Blackburn clear their lines.

Meanwhile at the other end, Preston fail to clear their lines and Joe Rothwell lets fly from 20 yards out but keeper Daniel Iversen collects the ball.

Blackburn's season has petered out a little bit and fans are starting to get on their case a bit.

If they win these last three games there's a very slight chance they can get into the play-offs, and what an achievement that would be.
