Wales are playing in the World Cup finals for only the second time in the nation's history.

Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey are both gracing the game's biggest stage in Qatar, just as John Charles and Cliff Jones did in Sweden in 1958.

Other Wales greats, including Billy Meredith, Ian Rush and Ryan Giggs, never had the opportunity to show off their skills at a World Cup tournament.

But who deserves to be acclaimed as Wales' greatest male footballer?

You have until 05:00 GMT on 28 November to cast your vote.

Right now Wales have to be brave, they have to be aggressive, they have to figure out what their trigger is on their press because I have not seen a press yet.

Those are the things that will help change momentum for Wales, which then will allow the attacking players to get in to the game.

Tactically there is going to have to be a big change for them to get back in this game second half.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2022

    USA 1-0 Wales

    There we are.

Wales are behind and probably lucky it is only 1-0.

USA have looked better in every department, Wales need to improve.

Grab a drink, let's have a little break.

I thought the game would settle down after 10-15 minutes but 50 minutes into the game we haven't won a second ball - football is built on winning second balls.

We can't get up the pitch, we can't get out of our third. They've dominated possession and when we have been in possession we've been sloppy and given the ball away.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 45+2 mins

Chris Mepham, already warned, is shown a yellow card for a foul on Christian Pulisic.

Robert Page should have started with Kieffer Moore for me, the longer this game goes the more momentum is with the USA and the more confident they are growing.

Really great finish from Timothy Weah.

Wales have been totally outclassed so far, they were hanging on until half-time, could not manage it and have not threatened at the other end.

They need to get to the break and reassess.
