Nice and positive from Taremi, he looks much more comfortable being the out and out striker unlike in the first half when he was having to drop deep and defend.

The USA are going for that second goal to try and see the game off but it's leaving some space for Iran. You can see the players just trying to organise things a little. A goal for Iran changes everything so at what cost do they take the risk?

We've seen Rezaeian get forward more now, we didn't see him in the first half.

Iran are a different team in this second half. Right-back Ramin Rezaeian, who is getting further forward now, puts in a cross which Tim Ream heads away.

Superb cross from Rezaeian and Ghoddos did well to get his head on it. Probably Iran's best chance of the game. It's given the crowd a lift.

Those two quick goals have put Group B firmly under England's control.

However for USA and Iran, all remains to be played for...

Iran's first chance of the whole game. Ramin Rezaeian does well on the right and lifts in a good cross. It's flicked on and Saman Ghoddos heads over from 10 yards out. Big chance really.

So it feels like we can say with some confidence now, if USA win this, they're through. If Iran get a point, they are through instead.

A bit greedy from Iran's Mehdi Taremi, who runs through the centre instead of trying to find Saman Ghoddos and eventually runs into trouble.

Marcus Rashford has given England a 1-0 lead against Wales. And Phil Foden has made it 2-0.

That would be good news for Iran, who just need to draw - so long as Wales don't win.

But Iran need to actually have some chances before worrying too much about that...

So definite hope yet.
