    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is good work down the left. Dwight McNeil switches off; he doesn't go with Lucas Digne, good ball into the box. Buendia has a simple tap-in.

You've got to stay with your runners.

    Emiliano Buendia (31 mins)

From bad to worse for Burnley.

It is a cruel one for the hosts as Emiliano Buendia's shot from the middle of the box takes a deflection to put it out of Nick Pope's reach.

Burnley are going to have to dig really, really deep to get something from this.

  5. Postpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

Mads Bech Sorensen concedes a free-kick in James Ward-Prowse range. Don't do that Mads!

    Burnley 0-1 Aston Villa

Wout Weghorst directs a header wide as Burnley continue to search for an equaliser. This is a very open game and I'd be surprised if we don't see more goals.

  8. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Chelsea 0-0 Wolves

Another chance for Wolves. A cross is half-cleared to Ruben Neves, who has a crack from long range - it hits Raul Jimenez on the way through and goes wide.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Watford

Crystal Palace, despite their possessional dominance, cannot find a goal as a corner is taken short but Michael Olise's shot is blocked. Watford then break but nothing comes of it.

  10. Postpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

Timewasting in the 26th minute? Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez is in no rush at all to take a goal kick, and gets a bit of a talking to by referee David Coote.

Aston Villa have a better record on the road than at home under Steven Gerrard and they are good value for their lead at Turf Moor.

They could do with three points here as two of their last four games are at home to Liverpool on Tuesday and, on the last day of the season, away at Manchester City.

Lots of time for Burnley to get back into this but they are yet to test Emiliano Martínez.

  13. Postpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Burnley 0-1 Aston Villa

James Tarkowski makes a decent challenge to deny Ollie Watkins getting a shot off inside the area, then Burnley break down the other end as Wout Weghorst thumps an effort on the spin just wide.

  14. Postpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Chelsea 0-0 Wolves

Chelsea RWB Reece James lashes a shot over the bar from 25 yards out.

  15. Postpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Brentford 2-0 Southampton

Christian Eriksen has made three assists in nine Premier League games for Brentford. He only managed two in 43 for Inter Milan in Serie A.

  16. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Brentford 2-0 Southampton

This could almost be a Champions League knockout game, there's so much going on. James Ward-Prowse's shot from outside the box is comfortably saved by Bees keeper David Raya.

Now Armando Broja heads wide from a JWP cross.

  17. Postpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Chelsea 0-0 Wolves

Another Romain Saiss chance for Wolves. This time he heads into the ground and it bounces over the bar.

  19. Postpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Brentford 2-0 Southampton

Brentford, Yoane Wissa, Brentford, SouthamptonImage source, Getty Images

Brentford have never led 2-0 within 15 minutes of a Premier League game before.

A win here would put them 11 points clear of the bottom three.

Southampton would be eight clear but everyone below them has games in hand.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Burnley 0-1 Aston Villa

Lucas Digne picks up the game's first yellow card for catching Dwight McNeil late. The Aston Villa full-back will need to be careful now, easier said than done against a very direct player like McNeil.
