Leeds United

Norwich City manager Dean Smith speaking to Sky Sports: "We got a better performance but a similar result [to West Ham]. It was a good first half and we more than matched Leicester with both goalkeepers making good saves and us hitting the post.

"We are a team recruited to play possession-based football but sometimes we are going to play teams that have more of the ball and when it is all square we have something to cling on to.

"Once we concede we suffer. We're looking ahead for next season and trying to finish this season as well as we can. As long as we see more of what I saw in the first half I will be okay with that."

Chelsea

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel to BBC Sport: "If we did not have the major injury to Mateo Kovacic, it would have been close to a perfect evening. It was a very strong performance from the start.

"We accepted all the obstacles we'd have to face - a physical team and an emotional stadium. We were strong from the beginning and deserved to win.

"We never dropped in concentration. We stayed very disciplined to avoid any chance of offensive transition. We did what we had to do at a very high level."

On Kovacic's injury: "It looks swollen and painful. It's the same ankle he had injured already. It doesn't look good."

"We were very focused. Even against 11 players we were clearly the better team. I felt the team were very commited, focused and calm. I had a good feeling.

"I was happy with how we played and how the players reacted after Saturday's late equaliser. We trusted ourselves but it was necessary to clear the air and refocus.

"The level of discipline and coverage in the defensive approach, we were more careful than the last game. We took care that we have a clean sheet."

"I was expecting a far worse performance than the one I saw tonight and I can only congratulate the players for their performance against a side with a lot still to play for.

Norwich City

Norwich City manager Dean Smith speaking to BBC Sport: "I thought we were as good as them in terms of chances created in the first half but when the first goal goes in we could not chase the game.

"We don't need to suffer that goal, it was a good block by Grant Hanley but it was unfortunate in the way it went in.

"We know we are going to come up against teams with more possession and when we concede first we suffer.

"We showed some good stuff in the first half but Jamie Vardy's movement for his two goals was exceptional and that is what you are up against at this level."

Everton captain Seamus Coleman: "I felt like the game was there for the taking but they also had some chances on the break. We know you can't just turn up and get three points. We're still fighting and if you can't win it just make sure you don't lose it.

"We know the stage we're at and we know what is needed. We understand the situation. We just have to keep pushing. We have two home games now. We have to keep pushing until the end."

On the travelling Everton supporters: "They have realised the situation we're in. Nobody wants to believe it, but they have really got behind their team and their football club. We have to keep working hard."
