'This is the Mark Noble stadium today'published at 13:59 British Summer Time 15 May 2022

West Ham v Man City (14:00 BST)

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is the Mark Noble stadium today. There's a feeling and a buzz and I walked past a pub on my way here. They were singing Mark Noble songs on the karaoke machines and that was three hours ago. They are ready for this game and the support is going to be right up for it today.

For quite a while I shared a dressing room with Nobes. Brilliant is all I can say really. In terms of him as a person he was just fantastic to be around. He had brilliant banter and it was ruthless at times. He was ruthlessly competitive in training and it would sometimes boil over in a good way. That was the type of person he was on the training pitch then on a Saturday he was fully committed.

He was great to play with. What he's gone on to achieve at West Ham is just brilliant and I'm pleased he's got this kind of send-off today.

  3. Pep and Moyes have a long pre-match chatpublished at 13:59 British Summer Time 15 May 2022

West Ham v Man City (14:00BST)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the London Stadium

Pep Guardiola spent ages before kick off sat in the Manchester City dug-out, initially watching his goalkeepers warm-up before his outfield players came out as well.

West Ham boss David Moyes came marching out of the tunnel as he followed his own team, but broke off when he noticed Guardiola sitting there.

The pair had a long chat - and didn't even do any of the disguised hand over the mouth gestures when the TV camera spotted them.

Guardiola will not be expecting an easy game today.
