It should be a simple backpass for Ramsdale to deal with but he kicks it off the onrushing Miguel Almiron but the ball, luckily for him, bounces to safety.

A lovely first touch by Newcastle left-back Matt Targett to control a cross-field ball and nutmeg Takehiro Tomiyasu. He finds Callum Wilson, who can't get a shot away and the ball goes out of play.

Arsenal cut out a ball into Callum Wilson and start a counter-attack which ends in Eddie Nketiah having a shot blocked inside the box.

Good atmosphere at St James' Park. Certainly a better one than in the first few months of this season when it was quite toxic.

It's looking likely that Aaron Ramsdale's run of relegations is coming to an end, presuming Arsenal don't get a 35-point deduction or something.

Both goalkeepers get a feel of the ball in the opening 60 seconds. Aaron Ramsdale slips as he clears but the ball flies down the pitch luckily for him.

Arsenal certainly have the edge in this fixture, winning 18 of their past 19 meetings.

Newcastle's 2-1 Premier League win at St James' Park in April 2018 is the only time since 2011 that Arsenal haven't beaten the Magpies.

United haven't even scored in the last seven meetings since a Ciaran Clark consolation in September 2018.

Arsenal are a bit all or nothing at the moment, winning five and losing five in their last 10 Premier League games.

They have not drawn a game in any competition since 23 January against Burnley.
