We look at Mo Salah and say he chases individual accolades and he likes to be the main man but you can see today quite clearly that the team meant more to him, the result meant everything.
The noise around the stadium was absolutely deafening when the goals went in against City and Liverpool must have been thinking they were back in it.
But you don’t hear the other side of it – what reaction do you give around the ground to let the players know that City are winning 3-2? You can’t.
Mohamed Salah when he scored, he ran off like he had scored the winning goal in the Premier League. That was the sense we got.

The stadium is still near full as fans stay behind to applaud their players and coaching staff on their lap of honour.
There's no sense of disappointment here, Liverpool gave it their best shot but Manchester City put in a champions performance to stage an incredible comeback.
With two cups in the bag and the Champions League final at the weekend, Liverpool fans know this season can still end as a very special one.

Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs boss Antonio Conte to BBC Sport: “It was a perfect day for us. We got a place in the Champions League. I think for a club like Tottenham to play Champions League is a great opportunity. It was not easy because in England the league is very difficult. There are many top teams. To get a place in the Champions League means we did something excellent.
“Nine games ago [he believed they could finish fourth]. I was very clear with my players and the media. I said now I feel we are ready and can fight until the end. It was the perfect moment. The players know very well our schedule. We made a paper with our games and it was a fantastic run apart from Brighton. We got fantastic results and now we’re talking about the Champions League. It’s great for everyone at Tottenham.
“I think so [it’s one of his biggest achievements]. Honestly it’s never positive to come into a team during the season. For me it was a big challenge, maybe the biggest challenge in my career. When I stay at the top level as a coach. I wanted to prove myself in a different situation with a lot of problems to solve. I’m really satisfied. I want to thank my staff and my players. If we were able to reach this big achievement, it’s because everyone gave everything.”
On Son-Heung min sharing the Golden Boot: “This was our target. First to get in the Champions League but then when there was a chance to help Sonny reach the top scorer, we enjoyed it. I have seen his team-mates try to help him. The award is for Son but it’s for the whole team. They helped him reach this big achievement.”

Former England defender on BBC One
How many of these players are Burnley able to keep hold of? The Nick Popes, the James Tarkowskis... It could be a very painful summer.

Burnley
Burnley interim manager Mike Jackson speaking to Match of the Day: "It's raw, we've got a group of players who are gutted. I don't think there is any other word to say about that. The effort they've put in since we came in has been brilliant. Today we've come out on the wrong side of chasing the game. We had some really good chances but couldnt take them.
"There wasn't much in the game but we gave the penalty away and they could sit in a bit more. You end up chasing it and don't get the rhythm.
"There is a lot of emotion in it. I'm gutted for everyone involved but proud as well as I couldn;'t have asked any more from them.
On the fans: "They stuck with us even at the end. It's their club. we're gutted we couldn't give thme what they wanted. I hope they saw a group that was fighting for them."
On what next for him: "I've not thought about my future. I'm too gutted about what's just happened and that's going to take a long time to get over."

Brentford
Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen: "Overall I think everyone can be very pleased with what they have achieved. In a first year in the Premier League we know how difficult it is. To be disappointed in the last game to lose is something to build up. We have been on a good run and after a few hours I think everyone will settle down and be in good mood.
"I was just happy to be back playing. To be the normal me and to play football in the Premier League again. To come back and help them stay up. I am very proud of that. It is different from where I have been before but to be here now having played good football inn the last six months, I am very pleased.
"On the last day of the season, to bring your family on to the pitch, it is special. Now it is a work off and then with the national team, so a few games still to go. But first a holiday."

Leeds United
Leeds boss Jesse Marsch speaking to Sky Sports: "Hot day - not easy for either team. We got the lead which was important, I thought the start was really good. When we were up two men we still didn't want to leave it up to fate, we tried to push the winner to secure our fate. This group has been able to dig deep in injury time and find goals and the character is clear and it's a privilege to work with these guys.
"We talked about how to play in the heat, how to manage the game, how to stay focussed for every moment. Weird that we gave up a goal when we went up a man. We tried to update the players on the Burnley score but the focus on us was most important. It's hard to concentrate and be connected for 90 minutes on days like this but this is typical of our group - they never stop believing and it's a credit to our mentality.
"It wasn't easy to manage and I was trying to think of ways to help the group tactically and to be fair we have had good performances it's just trying to put it all together hasn't always looked perfect. The stress has been high for three months, I've tried to stay calm and focus on us and you see the quality of the mentality and character.
"There's so much been said about Marcelo Bielsa v me and there's been people counting us out, I get it, this is high level stuff, and fans pay attention all over the world. It's not a perfect representation of what I want this team to be but in this situation we came together well and I still feel strongly about the group we have and the football we can play. We need to get better and add some pieces but I love this group, team, character, commitment and spirit.
"We were with our fans enough and I appreciate the fans singing my name but that's not the important thing. We are Leeds United and that's what we will always be as long as I am here - I love our fans but I don't care if they sing my name. It's important we are a committed group and show us that every time on the pitch."

Burnley 1-2 Newcastle
Burnley
Burnley defender James Tarkowski : "We’re devastated but over the season we've not been good enough. We need to be better than we have been and we've got our just reqwards by not doing enough.
"We have had too many sloppy moments and not won enough matches. We've had an incredible run in this league against these teams and their budgets. It's been a great achievement but that doesn’t mean we wanted it to end in the way we have done.
"There is never a lack of effort or desire from our team but we have just lacked individual quality in front of goal. We've given it our all. There is a great set of lads in there who’ve never given up but unfortunately we have come up short. It summed up our season."
On the fans: "They've been incredible ever since I've come here. They've been brilliant this season. It's easy to turn against team when they are struggling but they have been with us all the way.
"I can only apologise we've not done enough this season."
FT: Brentford 1-2 Leeds United
Leeds United
Leeds captain Liam Cooper speaking to Sky Sports: "Unbelievable - at the start of the season we set out for a lot better than that but after all the adversity we've faced our backs have been against the wall. That is a success in itself today, I'm not one for celebrating things like that but after what we've faced this season I will celebrate that. It was hectic and what a finish for the winner.
"We were aware of the Burnley score and every 10 mins I was asking the bench what the score. I need to apologise to my Mrs and kids over the last six weeks, it's been stressful I won't lie. We come in every day and work hard and if you keep working hard then things come off. That's for the fans, they've stuck with us all season, the atmosphere has been unbelievable and they don't deserve us at times. I hope they all get home safely today because they got us through that today."
Goalscorer Jack Harrison: "Through the game getting the first goal and that being offside then trying to get that second one was tough. Fortunately enough it went in at the end - exhilarating game, up and down, but we've been like that all season and now we'vecome out on top.
"An epitome of this squad that the injured players still come and support - out injured and operations but somehow they still find a way to get to the game and support the team. It's a credit to the group to keep pushing when they're facing the toughest of times."

BBC Sport at Turf Moor
The fans have just been asked to leave the stadium, but for a lot of them they just don't know what to do, stunned at the end of their club's six-year spell in the Premier League.
Some of the players are still walking around the pitch and the fear is that these will be goodbyes to the club.
With 'a significant proportion' of a £65m loan taken out with American financiers MSD Holdings to complete ALK Capital's takeover in 2020 to be paid in the near future, the home fans will be fearful of what happens next.
Burnley threw everything they had at it in the last five minutes but Jack Cork had an effort cleared off the line, Maxwel Cornet twice had efforts saved or blocked, with Ashley Barnes also being denied.
But, with Leeds' late, late winner, even an equaliser wouldn't have been enough anyway. Burnley started the day with their fate in their own hands, but ended it in the relegation zone and it's the Championship for them next season.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson talking to BBC Final Score: "Very proud of the boys and what we have done. We did all we could ask for today, but unfortunately not enough.
"I was always confident we would find the goal we needed and we did."

BBC Sport at Emirates Stadium
It's quite a subdued scene here at Emirates compared to some stadiums across the country, I would imagine. But the Arsenal fans are in good spirits as the players salute supporters on a lap of the pitch and give their kids a hug. Sweet.
Their team is back in Europe and although they missed out on the top four to arch-rivals Tottenham, you feel this young side has plenty of growing to do.
And now we have 'Sweet Caroline' over the tannoy....

Alan Shearer
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live
What a team, what a season, what a standard of football that we’ve witnessed.
You could see Pep was really nervous in the first half and he changed the personnel around – what a man and what a manager.
Four titles out of the last five – it’s just unbelievable what he’s got at Manchester City and what Jurgen has at Liverpool. It was a brilliant afternoon for the neutral.
He made the changes, Pep, and when you are putting someone on you want them to make a difference – and, boy, did they make a difference.
FT: Liverpool 3-1 Wolves
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher on Sky Sports: "Mo Salah was the best player in the league in the first half of the season. He’s had a brilliant season, he always scores goals. He’s had another brilliant season, that’s why Liverpool have been so successful."
Norwich 0-5 Spurs
Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs' Son Heung-min talking to BBC Sport about his Golden Boot: "It’s incredible to have this award. I can’t believe it. I got really emotional. I dreamed of it as a child. Literally it’s my in hands. I can’t believe it.
"Until my goal I was really frustrated that I missed big chances. I told the players I missed the easiest chances and scored one of the toughest tones. I didn’t give up. I wanted to score today. The team helped me a lot at half-time. They wanted to help me, you could see it today.
"This season was a great lesson. Next season we can look forward to the Champions League. Everyone deserves to be there.
"Conte gives us so many different things. Before he came here nobody believed we’d reach the Champions League."
On the trophy: "It’s really heavy, I wasn’t expecing that. It was a great, great day for me."
