France 2-1 Australia
It's all France now. Ousmane Dembele runs down the right and cuts it back for Kylian Mbappe. His shot is blocked and Olivier Giroud fires the rebound over.
Australia just need to make it to half-time still in this game.

Darren, it's never time to turn over to watch that.

Colin Bundred: Let’s play out from the back and gift France a goal. When will they ever learn.
Darren: Right do we turn over and watch Midsomer Murders now?

Another Kylian Mbappe flick.

France 2-1 Australia
The flicks and tricks are coming out now. Perhaps a bit early for that mind. Kylian Mbappe and Theo Hernandez have the crowd on their feet with a give-and-go.

France 2-1 Australia
Having scored just one goal in his first 27 appearances for France, Adrien Rabiot has since scored two in his last three international games.
Now he's bagged an assist, putting it on a plate for Olivier Giroud.
Looks like there's plenty of life in this France midfield after all.
'That touch, that awareness'
France 2-1 Australia
Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One
It's been a good recovery, they've gone through the gears and Mbappe involved again.
A simple tap-in for Giroud after a poor decision from Australia and a high press.
Adrien Rabiot picks out the right pass but it's that flick, that touch, that awareness from Mbappe.

France 2-1 Australia
Olivier Giroud is now only one goal off the French international scoring record - Thierry Henry's 51.
'Talk about shooting yourselves in the foot'
France 2-1 Australia
Chris Sutton
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live
Well talk about shooting yourselves in the foot, that is exactly what Australia do. They are careless in possession and Olivier Giroud is not going to miss from there.
All the talk of Karim Benzema missing the World Cup, Giroud has big shoes to feel and now he is one behind Thierry Henry.
GOAL - France 2-1 Australia
Olivier Giroud
Olivier Giroud scores his 50th international goal and France lead.
I said they were starting to click and they really are now.
Adrien Rabiot wins the ball off an Australian defender and passes to Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe backheels the ball back to Rabiot, who squares for Giroud to have a straightforward finish.

France are on top now and starting to click.

France 1-1 Australia
France have realised crosses into the box is their route to goal. Antoine Griezmann clips one in from the left and Olivier Giroud heads over.
Giroud was offside actually.
'Terrific ball makes header easier'
France 1-1 Australia
Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One
They will be disappointed, Australia - second phase from a set-play and they are trying to step up.
Just not picking up the men but what a terrific ball in and it makes the header that much easier when there's that much pace on the ball whipped in by Hernandez.

France 1-1 Australia
This completes the French redemption of Adrien Rabiot really.
The Juventus midfielder, then at PSG, refused to be a standby for the French 2018 World Cup squad.

Chris Sutton

It's a thumping header but it is all about the ball though. Theo Hernandez with a wonderful ball in and Adrien Rabiot times his run and plants the header back across the goalkeeper who can't do a thing about it.
GOAL - France 1-1 Australia
Adrien Rabiot
Ah.
Australia do clear that Antoine Griezmann corner but never really get it away properly. Theo Hernandez whips in a follow-up cross and Adrien Rabiot meets it in the centre to power home a header.

France have a corner... cleared.

France 0-1 Australia
France are working it out to Kylian Mbappe on the left at every possible opportunity.
You can understand the tactic but he's already lost possession eight times - almost as if Australia were expecting it.

France 0-1 Australia
Now Ousmane Dembele, who hasn't done much since the opening 30 seconds, is defended well.

France 0-1 Australia
I feel sorry for anybody who decided to only watch two of the four games today - and picked the middle two.
