    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

    Conor McNamara
    BBC Radio 5 live commentator

It’s much more open in this second half in terms of territory. Tunisia are playing a lot better since the restart.

Oh dear Ferjani Sassi. The substitute has an a pop from outside the box. It lands closer to the corner flag than the net.

  3. 'Tepid'published at 11:22 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November 2022

    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

There were really encouraging signs for Tunisia in the game against Denmark. It's been a tepid performance so far today, though.

And as I write that Ryan is forced to glove away a chance after a cross comes into the box.

Approaching the hour mark. Mat Ryan has not had a single save to make. Not good enough by Tunisia.

  7. Draw not enough for Tunisia?published at 11:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November 2022

    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

I'm not sure the aerial route is the way to go for Tunisia with the two Australian centre-backs both looking so dominant.

The reality for Tunisia is that they've got to score two. They're playing France in the last game and they can't rely on that one.

  8. CLOSE!published at 56 mins

    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

Lovely counter by Australia ends with Craig Goodwin fizzing it into the six-yard area but there is no-one there to put it in.

  9. 'Appealing for everything'published at 11:16 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November 2022

    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

    Emma Sanders
BBC Sport at Al Janoub Stadium

Australia are in for a long second half here. Every little Tunisia attack has their fans on their feet and chants being roared a little louder each time. The players know they have the backing of the stadium too and are appealing for everything.

    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

Australia conceded four times in their first game but they have been dominant at the back. Some proper towering performances. They are winning most of the aerial challenges.

  11. 'Pedantic referee'published at 11:15 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November 2022

    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

This referee seems a bit pedantic with his decisions, blowing his whistle every time there is a little touch and someone goes over. He doesn't give himself time to breathe.

    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

Players are dropping all over the pitch. Tunisia are appealing for everything. A white shirt goes down inside the box. No penalty says the referee.

  13. 'A strong talking-to'published at 11:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November 2022

    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

    Karen Bardsley
Former England and Manchester City goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tunisia look like they’ve had a strong talking-to at half-time. They’ve made some attacking changes.

Skhiri has dropped into the back three and Laidouni is getting forward a bit more.

At last Mat Ryan has work to do!

The keeper comes rushing off his line to punch clear a free kick which is whipped into the box.

That was good work by Ryan.

Tunisia really need something from this. They have one point from their first game but round off the group stage against holders France on Wednesday.

Delyth Lloyd: Tunisia support inside the Al Janoub Stadium has been immense. They've been standing up throughout the first half singing and chanting. Fans, though, had their heads in their hands with that near miss from Youssef Msakni.

  17. 'Much more positive'published at 11:10 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November 2022

    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

Good start from Tunisia. Exactly what they will have talked about.

What moving to a back four will do is give them an extra man in midfield and allow them to get another player in the box. A much more positive formation.

  18. 'Ryan needs to be switched on'published at 11:10 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November 2022

    Tunisia 0-1 Australia

    Karen Bardsley
Former England and Manchester City goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

The pressure’s going to be on Tunisia to attack Australia.

Mat Ryan needs to stay connected with his back four and make sure he’s switched on.

Fast start to the second half by the North Africans. They've won a corner but Australia's defence has been impressive. Mat Ryan has yet to make a serious save.
