  1. GOOD SAVE!published at 56 mins

    Brazil 4-0 South Korea

Raphinha, twisting ankles in the South Korea defence, jinks one way, then the other, cuts inside on to his left foot, curls a low shot at goal but Kim Seung-gyu gets down quickly to push it away. You very much get the feeling that we've not seen the end of the goals tonight.

    Brazil 4-0 South Korea

It's safe to say Kim-Min Jae has had his work cut out tonight.

South Korea's number four has been up against Neymar (10) and Vinicius Jr (20) for the majority of the game so far.

Paul: As a South Korean myself, the defeat was inevitable. Individual brilliance of Brazilian players is hard to cope with. Three days rest vs seven days rest (of main players of Brazil) doesn't help either. We are just happy to make it to the last 16 of this great World Cup.

Aldrin: Brazil playing well. South Koreans need to pick themselves up in this 2nd half. However not keen on the Brazilians attitude & behaviour with each goal celebrations, incl. their manager, very disrespectful to their opponents.

Almost a goal for South Korea. Son Heung-min, who had the quietest of first halves, gets a chance from the edge of the area but Alisson makes a good save to divert it behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.

Callum: This is very enjoyable! I thought Brazil should have started Martinelli today but Vinicius Jr has shown us why he is one of the best young talents around. Every player has put on a great performance so far.

Is there any hope for South Korea in the second half?

It looks unlikely but they're out from the tunnel first and all set to go. Brazil stroll back to the pitch, arms around each other.

What a dazzling half of football from Brazil. The 4-0 scoreline does not flatter them and they have produced magic in their finest footballing traditions.

When a highlights reel of goals is compiled from this World Cup in Qatar, Richarlison has got two guaranteed entries so far.

BBC pundits Alan Shearer, Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Williams look ahead to England's quarter-final with France, believing France should fear England and that Gareth Southgate's side are the better team while France have world-class individuals.

Before tonight, Neymar had hit four of his previous five penalties down the left.

South Korea have given up any hope of defending and it should be 5-0. Richarlison races through and has so much time, but his shot is saved by the foot of Kim Seung-gyu.

Lucas Paqueta almost gets his second. South Korea just can't cope with this Brazil team. The ball is played through to Paqueta, but he lets the ball run across his body, not looking too confident on his right foot.

Instead it's an attempted flick with the outside of his left boot but doesn't have much power.
