Jay: So much criticism for Spain and their passing, yet they are the most successful international football team this century….I’d happily take a few snooze fests for their trophy cabinet.

Morocco have one more change to make and it could be needed. Romain Saiss, who hurt himself while clearing, is getting treatment off the pitch.

If anything, the whistling by the Morocco fans whenever Spain are in possession has got even louder in extra-time. I'm not sure how that is possible, 110 minutes in. Do they practice this?

It's just so stop-start and scrappy now. Morocco skipper Romain Saiss goes down and the physios are on.

It's been four minutes since that fella shot from kick-off and nothing has happened since.

Spain might be dominating possession but that has not translated into clearcut opportunities.

The arrows on the left side of this graphic show Spain's 10 shots.

On the right are Morocco's six.

But you will notice the Moroccans have had two shots on target - illustrated by the green arrows - compared to just one for the Spanish.

Morocco's second was the one by Walid Cheddira a few moments ago - which was the best opportunity of the match (although which might actually have seen Spain defender Aymeric Laporte get a toe on it).

Even when they were good, they were like this. Most of their games in 2010 were 1-0.

Your younger viewers seem surprised by this 'all passing, no shots' Spain. This is how they have always played. 2008-2012 aside, it was always terrible to watch and usually resulted in them losing to 'worse' teams.

This is all deja-vu to me as I was also doing Japan v Croatia last night and you knew nobody would win in extra time.

Adams: Suggestion. Any game which has more possession than chances should just go straight to penalties instead of extra time. Saves us all the stress really.

Spain have won only one of their four World Cup penalty shootouts - against the Republic of Ireland in the last 16 in 2002.

As an Ireland fan, that's not a happy memory.

Harry: Didn’t Luis Enrique say that football is a show and a spectacle? “We play for them - so why bore them?” Please tell us Luis, why are you boring us?

Andy: I just fell asleep for 30 minutes and on waking up Spain were doing exactly the same thing as before. Think I’ll go back to sleep.

You don't often see this. Morocco's Abdelhamid Sabiri shoots from the kick-off but it goes wide. Worth a try.

By some distance, that is the best chance of the game.

Walid Cheddira has done well to get himself into a good position.

He should have finished better. The build up play was magnificent, it sliced through Spain’s midfield.

    Morocco should be ahead.

Spain corner, Carlos Soler to take. He actually crosses instead of playing it short and Bono catches.
