'No-one has gone toe to toe with Brazil'

I've worked as a co-commentator for BBC Radio 5 Live at all four of Brazil's games at this World Cup, and no team has really gone toe to toe with them yet.

Each of their group games started with teams sitting in - defending deep with a low block - and two of the three teams they played, Serbia and Switzerland, did not manage a shot on target.

The difference when they played South Korea in the last 16 was that they scored an early goal in a knockout tie, which opened the game up - and it was 3-0 and over before the half-hour mark.

Having Neymar back from injury definitely helped Brazil in that match, and they made a bit of a statement with the manner of their victory.

Croatia will play with balance, rather than massed defence - but they certainly won't be on the front foot.

They have got some good players - young and old - but Brazil will be too strong.

Brazil are dancing already

Brazil annoyed some people (not me) with their samba goal celebrations during their win over South Korea in the last round, but they are clearly not going to stop dancing any time soon.

Their fans have started already outside the stadium, and there could be more moves on the pitch, too - Brazil forward Raphinha reckons they have 10 dances for each match up their sleeves.

“One for the first goal, one for the second, one for the third,” he said. “If we score more than 10, then we’ll have to start innovating...”

I used to do similar... although after pints, not goals... and I think it's a safe bet they will have more rhythm than me.

Tite keeping on his dancing shoes

Brazil coach Tite caused quite the stir when he showed his own fancy footwork by joining his players' dancing celebration against South Korea.

Why did he do it? To connect with the players, who he says could be his grandchildren in terms of age.

And he said he doesn't care what people from the outside of Brazil say or think about him joining in.

"It is a connection I have with the younger generation. I am 61 and with players who are 20, 21, they could be my grandchildren.

"Those who know me understand if I had to choose between to be connected with those who know me and those don't know me, I will always choose those who know me.

"If I have to dance to be connected with them I will continue to dance.

"I'm not going to apologise when it's our culture to dance and have fun."
