To actually play through what Romain Saiss has been playing through, it's a bit silly.

I know he wants to help his team and he's a crucial part and it will have a psychological effect on his team-mates but it will have a bigger one if he continues to try and play against Cristiano Ronaldo with one leg.

Bad news for Morocco. Their captain Romain Saiss cannot carry on.

His replacement is Achraf Dari who is making his fifth senior appearance for his country.

His job is to stop Cristiano Ronaldo!

Cristiano Ronaldo has gone straight up front to stand on the shoulder of the Morocco defenders, and he is nearly always the furthest Portugal player forward.

His team-mates are not finding him yet, though. He's only touched the ball once in his first five minutes on the pitch.

Morocco's game plan is clear. They're soaking up waves of Portugal pressure before flooding forward on the break.

Play has been stopped to allow Romain Saiss treatment. He's in the wars again and down on the floor.

Morocco's play is almost entirely honed in on the two wings with Hakim Ziyech and Sofiane Boufal the focal points going forwards.

Talk about a dream scenario for Walid Regragui. His Morocco side have kept six clean sheets in their last seven games.

The only goal they’ve conceded so far at this tournament has been an own goal. So this is a team that knows how to keep an opponent at bay. And now they have an advantage after that excellent Youssef En Nesyri header. Plus they have almost the entire crowd behind them.

It’s going to have to take something special for Portugal to get back into this. We are set up for an incredible end to the game.

As well as Ronaldo, Joao Cancelo has also joined the party. Raphael Guerreiro and Ruben Neves have made way.

Cristiano Ronaldo was absolutely dying to get on the pitch. He was close to hopping onto the pitch rather than running, you could see his eyes light up and it was almost as if he said to the manager 'I am coming on now'.

    He can see a weakness.

Wayne: Going to see a lot of Portugal players throwing themselves to the floor in the second half, hope the ref doesn’t fall for it.

Josh: When Pepe retires he could have a job in showbiz as an actor or stuntman. The guy knows how to fall over.

Puny: Can someone remind Bruno Fernandes we have cameras filming his dives? It'll just save us having to endure his tedious protestations.

That is a phenomenally good free-kick, the keeper knew nothing about it. Diogo Costa was lucky it didn't touch anyone because he had absolutely no chance to react.
