    Harry Kane's team-mates politely asked for the camera operators to move away from him because he was inconsolable. Jude Bellingham had his shirt over his face and was lying on his back before he got to his feet. When Rashford's free-kick went over Harry Kane looked to the sky.

    Credit to France here. They are lapping up the adulation from their fans. They will know just how big a game this was to win.

    England were the better side in that second-half. But the world champions are such for a reason. They find ways to win.
