    You felt it was going to take something special to break this Rangers defence tonight. It's an absolute screamer and it dips down low beyond Allan McGregor.

    A corner is knocked clear to the edge of the box and Angelino thumps a cracking volley past Allan McGregor, with the ball skidding into the back of the net.

    That is an absolute sitter from Nkunku. He rounds Allan McGregor, he's eight yards out and all he has to do is side-foot it. He puts the laces through it and it flies over the bar.

    Christopher Nkunku races through the middle of the visiting defence and skips round the sprawling Allan McGregor but the striker is slightly off balance as he slams his shot high and wide of an empty net.

    Scott Wright has been quiet. In this second half he's moved out to a more familiar right wing position but hasn't made much of an impact. Fashion Sakala, with his pace and directness, now has a chance to. He's gone into the centre forward position with Aribo out on the right.

    As Rangers have grown in confidence, Leipzig's composure has slid somewhat. A failed attack finds its way to Allan McGregor and whistles echo around the stadium. Every decision for Rangers is met with a similar response.

    Joe Aribo is in the middle for Rangers now and Scott Wright is on the right. Aribo's physicality was badly needed in that first half, it seems a savvy move.
