  2. Still to come...published at 21:47 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

Sheff Utd v Nottingham Forest (15:00 BST)

That's the first of the Championship play-off semi-finals in the books then.

The second is at Bramall Lane at 15:00 BST tomorrow, as Sheffield United welcome Nottingham Forest.

Both games between those pair in the regular season finished 1-1.

That's not all from us on Saturday though.

Northampton Town, who came agonisingly close to going up automatically from League Two last week, travel to Mansfield at 19:45 BST as the fourth tier play-offs begin.

Huddersfield have shown they can do both things.

They can hit it long but also play a lot of football - get it on the ground and hurt Luton.

They didn't get the second goal but you could see Town were the stronger and Luton were nervous.

I think a draw is about fair.

Both teams will take a 1-1 draw, I think, after that.

Huddersfield will feel a lot more comfortable going back to their place - Luton set the standards in the first half, but it's all to play for.

And it does end honours even.

Good stuff from both sides, though the majority of action, and both the goals, came in the first half.

Danel Sinani gave Town the lead with a crisp low strike before Sonny Bradley levelled with a finish from Kal Naimsith's free-kick.

Third-placed Huddersfield had much the better of it in the second half but couldn't force Matt Ingram in the Hatters goal into a notable save.

These air will do it all again in West Yorkshire on Monday.

Looks like it's going to end honours even.

You'd say that would favour Huddersfield obviously but all to play for on Monday night.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 90+1 mins

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

Jordan Rhodes is booked for Huddersfield for bodychecking home defender James Bree.

His first yellow card since June 2020.

There will be a minimum of four minutes added on.

Last change for the home side.

Cameron Jerome is off and Robert Snodgrass is on.

    Two very experienced players.

Brilliant counter from the away side.

Goalkeeper Lee Nicholls fields a corner and releases Lewis O'Brien with a great kick.

He plays it wide to Duane Holmes who escapes down the Terriers left.

The ball comes to Pipa on the right edge of the area and his effort deflects behind.

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

    Matthew Glennon

You feel that Luton think this is their chance to lump the ball forward.

It'll be interesting to see if they throw men forward as that could help Huddersfield on the counter.

    Now then.

Huddersfield bring on Sorba Thomas for his first appearance since Easter Monday.

Goalscorer Danel Sinani leaves the field.

There's just two days between this and the return leg at Huddersfield on Monday.

Right now you'd have to imagine this is a game that will have taken a lot more out of Luton than the Terriers.

The Hatters are already injury-hit as well, while Huddersfield have a near clean bill of health.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 80 mins

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

Luton take off Reece Burke and bring on Danny Hylton.

That's going to mean a rejig because Hylton is a striker and Burke a defender.

  15. 'Holmes finding it too easy'published at 21:26 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

    Leon Barnett
Former Luton defender on BBC Three Counties Radio

Duane Holmes continues to find a lot of joy and possession in the middle of the park.

Surely there's got to be someone in the Luton side that's noticing he's finding it too easy.

They can't allow him to turn and cause problems.

  16. Postpublished at 79 mins

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

Duane Holmes does brilliantly to drive forward and slip a great pass into the path of Lewis O'Brien.

He looks to sidefoot home but it's blocked for another Huddersfield corner.

Tom Lees heads well wide from the set-piece.

  17. Postpublished at 77 mins

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

Just flashed up that Huddersfield have had 83% of the possession in the past 10 minutes.

In all honesty it feels like more than that.

Luton finally get the ball down the other end but can't make anything of it.

It's been a very long first 30 minutes of this half for them.

    Lovely night down in Bedfordshire.

It probably doesn't feel quite as lovely for Luton's players just now as they are well and truly under the pump.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 71 mins

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

Danny Ward is off and former Scotland international striker Jordan Rhodes is on for Huddersfield.

    That's their first change.
