  1. Ward a hair's breadth awaypublished at 20:28 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

    Matthew Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

That is a wonderful ball into the box by Danel Sinani.

All Danny Ward has to do is get a whisker on it.

He'll be wishing he didn't get his hair cut now, as that would've been 2-1!

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

Great save by Matt Ingram in the home goal!

Danel Sinani sends a wonderful teasing cross in from the middle of the park and Danny Ward gets just the faintest touch on it to direct it to the bottom corner.

Ingram reads Ward's intentions and keeps it out.

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

    Great stuff this.

Two teams employing different tactics but both looking to go at their opponent when the chance presents itself.

I have to admit I thought this might be quite a cagey encounter this evening but none of it.

    Hopefully it keeps up!

Shane O'Neill: Not sure what David Woods (see 20:07) is talking about. Luton play far more attractive football, and with zero resources. Teams have kicked them from pillar to post all season, the reason half the squad is injured and has been for months.

Nick: Sonny Bradley showing that Luton aren't just here to make up the numbers! Come on!

Shane taking umbrage with David's earlier claim that Luton are an "ugly team".

Huddersfield-born Cameron Jerome is in the mood tonight.

The Luton forward curls a fierce shot just over the bar from 20 yards out after coming in off the left.

    Luton scream for a penalty!

Cameron Jerome gets in behind from a nice pass from Harry Cornick.

Naby Sarr gets tangled up with the former Stoke man as he looks to shoot and it goes for a corner.

You'd normally see a penalty given in that situation but not this evening.

Replays suggest the referee may have been slightly impeded in seeing it.

  7. 'Great strike from Bradley'published at 20:19 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

    Leon Barnett
Former Luton defender on BBC Three Counties Radio

It's a fantastic delivery from Kal Naismith - they've been great all season.

Huddersfield have got to be a little disappointed that they've allowed Sonny Bradley was able to do that.

    It's a great strike.

    All-square!

Cameron Jerome wins what I will charitably call a soft free-kick down the Hatters left and Kal Naismith's wicked delivery is volleyed home from inside the six-yard box by Hatters skipper Sonny Bradley.

His finish is at Lee Nicholls in the Terriers goal but he's never keeping that out.

    Game on!

Luton keep the ball well for a minute or so but eventually Lewis O'Brien pinches it 20 yards from goal and drives to 30 yards out from the Luton goal.

It breaks down but that's the real worry for the home side. The Terriers are content to let them have possession in midfield, knowing how dangerous they can be on the counter.

A turnover 30 yards from their own goal ended with Huddersfield opening the scoring.

  10. 'Luton keeping pressure on'published at 20:10 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Luton 0-1 Huddersfield

    Leon Barnett
Former Luton defender on BBC Three Counties Radio

Luton are plugging away and keeping at it.

They're keeping the pressure on, which is positive.

  11. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Luton 0-1 Huddersfield

James Bree sends in a good cross for the home side and veteran striker Cameron Jerome sees his header deflect behind for a corner.

The deep corner is headed back across goal by Sonny Bradley but Kal Naismith can't sort his feet to get a shot away in the middle.

    Luton 0-1 Huddersfield

David Woods: Last time these two teams met, Luton wrestled players to the ground at every set-piece they defended. Everyone is getting carried away with the romance, but Luton are an ugly team.

    Luton 0-1 Huddersfield

Huddersfield finished three places and seven points above Luton and just now it's showing.

The away side weathered a bit of a storm from the Hatters early on and then caught them cold with a well-worked counter-attack goal.

Luton just need to regather their composure, still ages to go in this.

    Luton are rocking just now.

Lewis O'Brien plays a clever pass in behind the home defence, who are very high again, for Danny Ward.

He gets there first but this time Sonny Bradley does get the block on the shot.

  15. 'Brilliant from Sinani'published at 20:00 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Luton 0-1 Huddersfield

    Matthew Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

    That's brilliant from Danel Sinani.

The defender thinks he's coming back on his left foot but he drops his right shoulder and it's a really good finish.

It's all about Harry Toffolo breaking from defence with a perfect pass and perfect pace on it.

    Danel Sinani (11 mins)

The away side make the breakthrough!

The home side had had the better of the opening minutes but some lax defending allows Luxembourg midfielder Danel Sinani to put the Terriers in front.

Luton are too far up the pitch and one pass from Harry Toffolo has Sinani in on goal, and he does ever so well to drive a low shot in at the near post.

  17. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Luton 0-0 Huddersfield

Luton playing some neat stuff so far.

They win their second corner of the game and James Bree's initial delivery is cleared before the home side recycle it and Harry Cornick's near post cross is held by Lee Nicholls in the Terriers goal.

    Luton 0-0 Huddersfield

Stavros Makro: That was a clear shove and a penalty. Because it happened in the first 15 seconds the ref didn't give it.

Andy White: VAR penalty, however not a penalty in the Championship. Love the Championship and not VAR.

Two opinions, two very contrasting opinions. The only one that mattered was that of referee Robert Jones...

VAR isn't in operation for the Championship play-off semi-finals but WILL be for the final.

    Luton 0-0 Huddersfield

    Good opening this.

Luton win a free-kick about 35 yards out and they look to tee up Henri Lansbury for a very long range shot.

It's charged down but both these sides are on the front foot at the moment.

The Hatters failed to score against the Terriers in their two league meetings this season.

The Masked Pedora: Luton Town to win. Their journey from the heights of playing with football elite to the bottom - playing from hand to mouth and back. They are on the brink of promotion to the Premier League, it's a boy's own story. Roy of the Rovers would be proud of their achievements.

Roger: Luton are very unpredictable. They can slam you with 3-4 goals and also stink up the place. For some reason I think Luton going to run away with it.

Roger and The Masked Pedora (an unusual name it has to be said...) are both backing Luton tonight.
