    Rangers 0-0 Ross County

Rangers have been knocking the ball about well and they are now knocking at the County door as Joe Aribo takes aim.

But the midfielder's attempt takes a slight nick and curls just past the bottom-left corner.

  4. Late change for Saintspublished at 19:45 British Summer Time 11 May 2022

    St Johnstone v Aberdeen (19:45)

A little confusion in Perth, with a late change to the published St Johnstone team sheet. Jacob Butterfield is in fact starting in midfield ahead of Ali Crawford, with Cammy MacPherson on the bench.

  5. Postpublished at 19:45 British Summer Time 11 May 2022

    Dundee United 0-0 Celtic

It feels a matter of time before Celtic score, as Benjamin Siegrist has to claw away another attempt.

Up the other end, Joe Hart casually comes out of his goal to near halfway to gather a stray pass from Reo Hatate but the midfielder deals with it himself - and has plenty of time to do so, without a single United player in the opposition half.

  6. Postpublished at 19:39 British Summer Time 11 May 2022

    Dundee United 0-0 Celtic

Celtic are piling on the pressure as the green and white shirts queue up to get a shot away. James Forrest eventually does and it takes a good block to stop it flying towards Benji Siegrist's goal.

  8. CLOSE!published at 19:35 British Summer Time 11 May 2022

    Dundee United 0-0 Celtic

Anthony Ralston passes up a great chance to give Celtic the lead. With the United defence sleeping, Reo Hatate plays a short corner to Matt O'Riley, and the midfielder cuts it back for Ralston, who can only slam the ball over the top from six yards out.

Ralston started the entire move with a Pirlo-esque cross-field pass too.

Motherwell manager Graham Alexander pays tribute to assistant manager Keith Lasley, who makes his last appearance in the role at Fir Park before taking on a new job St Mirren in summer.

He tells BBC Scotland: "He's been a brilliant servant for this club. Great support, great enthusiasm for coaching, for the players but most of all for Motherwell.

"We'll be sorry to see him leave but hopefully we can give him a positive send off."

    Dundee United v Celtic (19:30)

After losing their first three away games of the season, Celtic have won 13 of their last 15 trips (D2).

A 14th victory on the road would be their most since the 'invincibles' campaign of 2016-17 (17).

  12. McGhee looking for anniversary presentpublished at 19:22 British Summer Time 11 May 2022

    St Johnstone v Aberdeen (19:45)

It was 39 years ago tonight that Mark McGhee starred in an Aberdeen team that beat the mighty Real Madrid 2-1 to win the European Cup Winners Cup.

Now the Dundee manager is relying on his old club to do him a favour. Nothing less than a win for Aberdeen in Perth will do if the Dark Blues are to avoid relegation to the Scottish Championship this evening.

  13. Celtic 'in good spot' - Postecogloupublished at 19:19 British Summer Time 11 May 2022

    Dundee United v Celtic (19:30)

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou says his team just need to maintain their levels to clinch the title.

"We're in a good spot," he told BBC Scotland. "I'm really pleased with the way we've tackled the last bit of the season.

"It's been in our hands the whole way through and tonight we get the chance to finish it off.

"I was under no illusions, after last year when the club didn't win anything we couldn't go another season like that.

"So we had to have some tangible success. I was really determined to make sure this year was a meaningful year in terms of progress and success."

  14. Will United take shackles off?published at 19:16 British Summer Time 11 May 2022

    Dundee United v Celtic (19:30)

United frustrated Rangers for 55 minutes on Sunday with a stuffy display at Ibrox, but had no answer after falling behind in a 2-0 loss.

Will they be more adventurous at home or will those previous 3-0 defeats to Celtic at Tannadice prompt a repeat of the weekend's cautious approach?

If Celtic find the levels they did for an hour in Saturday's 4-1 demolition of Hearts, then it might not matter what the home side do.

  15. Celtic untroubled at Tannadice this termpublished at 19:14 British Summer Time 11 May 2022

    Dundee United v Celtic (19:30)

Dundee United have made life difficult for Celtic this season, picking up a well deserved point in Glasgow in September and going so close to repeating the trick in late January when they were undone by Liel Abada's stoppage-time strike.

It's been a different story at Tannadice though, with Celtic winning 3-0 on both of their visits, in the league and Scottish Cup.

United last celebrated a home win over Celtic in 2014, their only success in the past 21 league meetings.

    Motherwell v Hearts (19:45)

Motherwell have fresh selection issues after a bug struck several more players following Saturday's win against Ross County. However, they make just two changes from that game.

Midfielders Mark O'Hara and Ross Tierney drop out in favour of Callum Slattery and Dean Cornelius. Kevin van Veen - who came off the bench to win and convert the penalty to beat County - is once again among the subs.

Hearts give captain Craig Gordon a rare rest, with Ross Stewart taking the gloves.

Stephen Kingsley and Ellis Simms also drop to the bench, with Barrie McKay out of the squad altogether.

That means Gary Mackay-Steven, Ben Woodburn and Andy Halliday all get their chance.

  17. Lowry starts for Rangers; County rest Charles-Cookpublished at 19:09 British Summer Time 11 May 2022

    Rangers v Ross County (19:45)

Rangers are much-changed again as Giovanni van Bronckhorst makes seven changes.

Teenage forward Alex Lowry is in for just his second first-team start, along with keeper Allan McGregor, Calvin Bassey, Glen Kamara, John Lundstram, Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent.

Out go John McLaughlin, Leon King, James Sands, Steven Davis, Aaron Ramsey, Fashion Sakala and Scott Arfield.

As for County, it looks like Malky Mackay might have one eye on Dundee United on Saturday as top scorer Regan Charles-Cook is one of four changes.

Connor Randall, David Cancola and Jordan White also make way for Dominic Samuel, Joseph Hungbo, Jack Burroughs and Keith Watson.

    St Mirren v Livingston (19:45)

Stephen Robinson makes just one change as he looks for a third consecutive win - something St Mirren haven't done in the league since October.

Ryan Flynn comes in, making his first league start of the calendar year, in place of Richard Tait.

Livingston make three changes as they bid to cement seventh place.

Jackson Longridge and Alan Forrest start, with Caleb Chukwuemeka making his first league start for the club. Ayo Obileye, Andrew Shinnie and Odin Bailey drop to the bench.

  19. Saints change three as Ruth leads line for Donspublished at 19:02 British Summer Time 11 May 2022

    St Johnstone v Aberdeen (19:45)

St Johnstone know a point would ensure they do not suffer automatic relegation and boss Callum Davidson makes three changes to the side held at Livingston on Saturday.

Out go Callum Booth, Cammy MacPherson and Stevie May, with James Brown, goalscorer Glenn Middleton and Ali Crawford replacing them.

Young striker Michael Ruth, 20, leads the line for Aberdeen with Christian Ramirez back home in America and Marley Watkins out.

Ross McCrorie is injured too and Jonny Hayes drops to the bench. Adam Montgomery and Funso Ojo start.
