    St Johnstone 0-0 Hibernian

Oddly, Hibs have lost their grip on the game since St Johnstone went down to 10 men. The home side have been sitting so deep and the visitors have been rushing everything, with the quality of the final pass often lacking.

Time is running out to find a winner.

Saints manager Callum Davidson is furious after his captain's earlier dismissal.

"Both yellows" is the verdict of the watching Willie Miller.

    Jordan White

Ross County saw Hearts score with a long ball and decided it was their turn.

Direct ball, Jordan White bursts in behind the defender and fires it past Craig Gordon.

The Hearts keeper seemed to be caught in two minds when dealing with it.

    Barrie McKay

    What a wonderful goal.

It starts off simple with a routine long ball, that McKay watches fall over his shoulder and takes one of the best first touches you'll see all season to take two pursuing defenders out of the game.

With the ball already out of his feet his coolly slots it home.

How has that not gone in?! Oli Shaw is slipped in by Liam Polworth, and his left-footed effort cracks the crossbar and bounces on the line - but it's not gone over.

Killie inches away from an equaliser...

    St Johnstone 0-0 Hibernian

Saints defender Alex Mitchell makes a goal-saving clearance at the near post after Joe Newell loops a header over goalkeeper Remi Matthews from near the byeline. Substitute Christian Doidge was waiting to tap the ball in but Mitchell flies in with his head to save the day.

    St Johnstone 0-0 Hibernian

Ten-man Saints almost take an unlikely lead as Graham Carey lets fly from 25 yards and David Marshall needs to make a good diving save to push the ball away.

  12. RED CARD Harkes (Dundee Utd)published at 16:26 British Summer Time 30 July 2022

    Kilmarnock 0-1 Dundee United

After his booking at the start of the second-half, Ian Harkes is off! He spins away from a challenge before catching Liam Donnelly late. On a yellow card already, that is a very risky tackle.

Callum Davidson is going to be really frustrated. It's late and clumsy but I don't think Murray Davidson is endangering his opponent.

    Kilmarnock 0-1 Dundee United

Derek McInnes needs a reaction from his side. Fraser Murray and Liam Donnelly are on, in place of Alan Power and Ryan Alebiosu.

Only one shot for Kilmarnock so far in this half.

    Alan Forrest

Excellent team goal from the home side.

They hadn't been in it for the best part of an hour but they turn on the style and start shifting the ball about with real intent.

Alex Cochrane fizzes the final ball in low and Forrest tracks it's path well to guide it in from close-range.

The studs aren't up but it's an ugly clatter.

    Another big chance for Hibs...

Chris Cadden darts down the right to fizz the ball across the face of goal but St Johnstone scramble clear. Marijan Cabraja then tries his luck with a fierce shot that team-mate Elie Youan gets his head on as the ball loops over the top.

  19. CLOSE!published at 16:12 British Summer Time 30 July 2022

He drives into the box and beats two defenders before pushing his left-footed shot narrowly wide.

    Kilmarnock 0-1 Dundee United

Jack Ross makes his first change as Dundee United manager, putting Glenn Middleton on for his debut in place of Mathew Cudjoe.

The visitors have looked much stronger in this half, clearly buoyed up by that goal on the brink of half-time.
