  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

Well, we're at half-time at most of our matches now and I think we're going to need a moment to all catch our breath.

We've had a ridiculous 19 goals go in during the first 45 minutes in nine of the 10 of our Championship matches so far.

Let's just catch up with where we stand.

  12. goal

GOAL: Wigan 1-2 Burnleypublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Will Keane pen (42 mins)

The home side are back in it!

Callum Lang is fouled by Clarets goalkeeper Arajenet Muric in the area and Will Keane steps up to do the honours from the penalty spot.

  13. goal

GOAL: Blackpool 1-1 Bristol Citypublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Tommy Conway (44 mins)

Bristol City scoreImage source, Rex Features

What a start to the season 20-year-old Tommy Conway is enjoying for Bristol City, who scores for the fifth time in seven appearances with a really well-worked team goal.

It was all started by Kal Naismith at the back, who's pass cuts the ball right through midfield. Eventually it comes out wide to Alex Scott before Conway arrives at speed in the box as the cross comes in, to smash the ball straight into the top of the net.

  14. goal

GOAL: Hull 2-1 Coventrypublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Oscar Estupinan (42 mins)

    Hull celebrateImage source, Rex Features

Seriously, how many goals is this guy going to score?!

Oscar Estupinan has his SIXTH goal of the Championship season.

Coventry goalkeeper Simon Moore makes a hash of a Lewie Coyle cross and there's the Colombian to gobble up his second of the day.

  15. Postpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

Cardiff City 0-0 Preston North End

When there are goals flying in left, right and centre across the Championship it's not hard to guess that the only match which still remains goalless is the one at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Preston have scored only one match all season, while the Bluebirds have just three goals to their name.

True to form so far, we're about five minutes from half-time and neither team has recorded a shot on target yet.

  16. Postpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Wigan 0-2 Burnley

Wigan, unbeaten so far this season, look for a route back into this game.

James McClean's corner is met by Jack Whatmough at the back stick but he can't direct his header on target.

  17. Postpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Blackpool 1-0 Bristol City

This is such an open game with so many chances coming at both ends, it's hard to believe there's still only one goal in it.

Josh Bowler almost doubled his tally for Blackpool, but his shot narrowly goes over the bar.

  18. goal

GOAL: Huddersfield 2-1 West Brompublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Jed Wallace (38 mins)

West Brom scoreImage source, Rex Features

That's one back for the Baggies!

Jed Wallace has his first goal in a West Brom shirt from Grady Diangana's cutback.

    Game on!

  19. goal

GOAL: Watford 1-2 QPRpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Chris Willock (34 mins)

What a goal this is by Rangers!

A great counter-attack saw Ethan Laird picking out Chris Willock who finds the back of the net with a delightful finish.

    Good game this one.

Cardiff v PrestonImage source, Rex Features

That's goals in nine of our 10 Championship games already.

The match without a goal - of course it's Preston's match. The Lilywhites' opening five league games have featured just one goal so far, with four 0-0 draws to date, and they're still goalless at Cardiff.
