The longer Norwich's superiority goes on without converting it into goals, you wonder just when Dean Smith's itchy trigger finger will wait to introduce this man.

Another free-kick, this time out wide, and Josh Sargent meets it with a glancing header that flies across the six-yard box.

Max Aarons, sneaking in at the back post, cannot meet it and it's out for a goal-kick.

Norwich the side doing all the threatening.

Marcelino Nunez sends the resultant free-kick straight into the Millwall wall.

Sinani again. Lovely reverse ball into Josh Sargent who gets a prod to the ball before George Saville sends him tumbling just outside the area and is booked for the foul.

Sargent falls into the box but the challenge was outside.

Liam Gibbs was in two minds whether to go for it and that moment of hesitation lets Shaun Hutchinson get a block in.

He finds a gap, thinks about it and waits a split second too late to get his shot off.

Norwich's Danel Sinani is looking like the danger man.

A lovely delicate inside pass sends Liam Gibbs scampering towards goal but his shot loops up off a defender and is easy for Millwall keeper Bartosz Bialkowski.

A sniff for Millwall as Benik Afobe finds space in the right hand side of the Norwich area and looks to pounce on a ricochet that bounces his way.

The flag goes up for offside, probably incorrectly.

Millwall are winless in 18 league away trips to Carrow Road, a sequence dating all the way back to 1968.

Norwich threaten to extend that pattern with a tidy passing move but Onel Hernandez decides against pulling the trigger and the chance passes him by.

The first corner of the game goes to the Canaries.

A clever block allows Kenny McLean a free header from Danel Sinani's delivery but he directs it well wide.

Sinani had a big impact on loan at Huddersfield last season in their top-six finish and he's heavily involved early on here.

There's the first chance. Nice move from Norwich.

Kieran Dowell works a lovely little one-two on the edge of the box with Danel Sinani but drags his shot wide from 20 yards.

Warning for Millwall.

Millwall's away form is arguably the key factor that has prevented them making the top six the past couple of seasons.

But they have settled well here and spent much of the opening exchanges in the Norwich half.

Quiet start so far, with neither side threatening the other's penalty area.

It's a tad early in the campaign to be termed escape artists but Millwall have certainly got themselves out of some scrapes even at this embryonic stage of the season.

Coming from 2-0 down to beat Coventry 3-2 six days ago was one thing.

But rescuing a point from 2-0 behind at Swansea after 90 minutes were up was quite another on Tuesday night.

The Lions did have some help, though - with the Swans twice putting through their own net in stoppage time. And Millwall would love Lady Luck to be on their side again tonight.

It's been a bit of a rude awakening for Norwich back in the Championship after the Canaries began with two away defeats and a home draw.

However, they registered their first win last time out at home to Huddersfield - and that could be a springboard given they had been unlucky to have to wait so long.

Dean Smith's side have enjoyed 67% possession or more in three of their four matches.

They have attempted 51 shots compared to their opponents' combined 23 and won 35 corners while conceding just four. Surely a recipe for success in the long haul, Delia?
