If the first three weeks of the season are anything to go by, it's going to be an exciting one.

Goals galore again today and a dramatic turnaround at Pittodrie while St Mirren got a first league win and Livingston struck late to defeat Hibernian.

And Rangers have maintained their winning form going into Tuesday's Champions League play-off first leg with PSV Eindhoven.

  6. FULL-TIME St Mirren 1-0 Ross Countypublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 13 August 2022

Richard Tait's 20-yard wonder strike seals St Mirren's first points of the season, while condemning Ross County to a third successive defeat.

Malky Mackay's side are now the only team in the top flight to not have picked up any points yet.

In a first half of few opportunities St Mirren's Joanh Ayunga cracked the post and Tait won it just after the interval.

County's Owura Edwards headed a cross off the post as his side searched for an equaliser.

  7. FULL-TIME Aberdeen 2-3 Motherwellpublished at 16:54 British Summer Time 13 August 2022

Motherwell win a five-goal Scottish Premiership thriller with Aberdeen to hand Steven Hammell victory in his first game as permanent manager.

Bojan Miovski had cancelled out the visitors' opener from Blair Spittal, and Jonny Hayes gave the Dons an early second-half lead. But Callum Slattery and Kevin van Veen scored in quick succession to restore Motherwell's advantage.

It means Motherwell have won six of their past nine games against the Dons. Of those, they have lost just once as they continue a fine record against the Pittodrie side, with their second win of the season.

But for Aberdeen, despite a summer overhaul with 11 new signings arriving, they have now conceded six goals in three games, with just one win during that period. And their injury problems continue to mount with Matthew Kennedy and Leighton Clarkson both limping off.

    Aberdeen 2-3 Mothwerwell

Aberdeen press for an equaliser with a series of late corner kicks. Goalkeeper Kelle Roos comes up for them, which gives Motherwell the chance on the counter attack, but Kevin van Veen can't get his shot away to take advantage.

  9. FULL-TIME Livingston 2-1 Hibernianpublished at 16:54 British Summer Time 13 August 2022

    And breathe.

That game had absolutely everything. A dominant Livingston in the first half, a spirited Hibernian fight-back, and an 85th-minute winner courtesy of Ayo Obileye's header.

In between all that, Hibs squandered chances to take the lead, both managers were booked, and referee Craig Napier acted as peacemaker between two fired-up sides.

A real game of two halves, and what a game it was.

  10. FULL-TIME Rangers 4-0 St Johnstonepublished at 16:53 British Summer Time 13 August 2022

Rangers secure a third consecutive Scottish Premiership win of the season with a comfortable dismissal of St Johnstone.

Striker Theo Bair squandered a good early chance for the visitors.

But their threat diminished after Malik Tillman replicated his midweek scoring leap to head in off the bar and goals form Antonio Colak, Scott Arfield and Tom Lawrence followed up as Rangers warmed up for Tuesday's Champions League play-off against PSV Eindhoven.

    Livingston 2-1 Hibernian

Elie Youan goes so close to an equaliser! It's superb from the striker, showing nice skill to earn some room on the edge of the box and whipping a fiery shot at goal, but Shamal George gets a strong wrist to it.

    This game is not over.

    Aberdeen 2-3 Motherwell

Two big chances for Motherwell to seal the points. Joe Efford outpaces the defence down the left but shoots into the side netting.

Then Josh Morris looks like he's going to score from the corner, only for his own team-mate Efford to block it on the line.
