Aberdeen v Motherwell (15:00)
Aberdeen manager Jim Goodwin told BBC Scotland pre-match: "We're basically just looking for a repeat performance as we got against St Mirren.
"I still think we need to add one player, possibly two, but the squad is quite big at the moment and we've had conversations with the players about maybe moving some on.
"But if the window closed today and I had to go with the current crop of players that I've got, I would be more than pleased because when I look at the strength in depth we've got I'm a very lucky manager."
Livingston 0-0 Hibernian
Hibernian head coach Lee Johnson is well equipped for the sunny conditions at the Tony Macaroni Arena.
Today's SPFL matches are getting under way...
Aberdeen v Motherwell (15:00)
New Motherwell manager Steven Hammell tells BBC Scotland: "We're still trying to find a perfect formula with our attacking options.
"We were hoping to get one or two in before this game but that's not been the case. We're confident before the window closes we will get a couple in. We need players that are going to come in and be ready to go.
"It's going to be different no matter what manager came in. We need to improve the players that are already here, we need to be clever with the recruitment, and over the next year or two we need to promote the youth."
Draped in sunshine, the four Scottish Premiership pitches in use today are emptying temporarily as teams go off for their final preparations...
Four Premiership teams are still looking for a first league win of the season and two of them are playing each other today.
Can St Mirren get the better of Ross County or will it be the other way around?
It may be a day for debutants or first goals but for whom?
And, perhaps most pressingly, how will the players cope in the searing heat? There will be a water break in each half.
Rangers v St Johnstone (15:00)
St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson tells BBC Scotland he's delighted to be able to name an unchanged side on the back of their win over Motherwell.
"The lads played really well last week and it's the first time in a little while we've had to leave a couple of boys out," he says
"It's good for me and we've got a good selection off the bench and that's important today as there is going to take a maximum effort to get a result. We have to try try to frustrate Rangers, but we've also got to be brave and not sit in for 90 minutes."
Davidson says striker Stevie May was "a little bit unlucky" not to start after his winning goal as a substitute at Fir Park.
Meanwhile, he reveals centre-half Liam Gordon was close to a starting place after a month out through injury, as was Daniel Phillips, the former Watford midfielder who signed in midweek and is also on the bench.
Rangers v St Johnstone (15:00)
Giovanni van Bronckhorst reveals his four changes against St Johnstone are inspired by a combination of "giving players minutes" and Ryan Kent and James Sands picking up injuries in Tuesday's win over Union Saint Gilloise in Champions League qualifying.
Asked whether he was tempted to hand a start to Alfredo Morelos after two substitute appearances, the Rangers manager told BBC Scotland: "He's been out for many months and he's not ready to start games yet.
"The more minutes he will be able to get in the coming weeks, the closer he will be."
Van Bronckhorst also stressed Rangers had no thoughts about asking for the postponement of league games ahead of the Champions League play-off against PSV Eindhoven as he preferred to give players game time.
Rangers v St Johnstone (15:00)
After the euphoria of Tuesday's 3-0 win over Union Saint Gilloise, which sealed a 3-2 aggregate win in Champions League qualifying, Rangers are at home for the third straight game against today's opponents St Johnstone.
Saints travel to Ibrox on the back of their first Scottish Premiership victory of the season away to Motherwell last week.

Raith Rovers v Morton (15:00)
Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at Stark’s Park
Raith Rovers are the only Scottish Championship side without a point at this early stage of the season, and welcome a Greenock Morton side that have won three of their past four games in all competitions.
Scoring goals has been a big problem for Ian Murray’s men, who have failed to hit the back of the net in their past four outings.
From 12 Premiership games so far, there have been 29 goals. That's an average of 2.4 goals per game.
What will today's matches bring and can that average be exceeded?
Aberdeen v Motherwell (15:00)
Steven Hammell is officially Motherwell manager after two matches in interim charge.
The former Fir Park player replaces Graham Alexander and has overseen one win and one defeat so far.
Today, it's a trip to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen for Hammell's team, with the Dons also on three points from their opening two Scottish Premiership games.
Livingston v Hibernian (15:00)
Martin Boyle made a typically unsubtle return to the Scottish Premiership on Sunday with a last-gasp Edinburgh derby equaliser.
The winger is back at Hibernian after a brief spell in Saudi Arabia and featured for around half-an-hour against Hearts. He's on the bench again today.
Up against Hibs today is a Livingston side seeking back-to-back league wins following Sunday's 1-0 triumph away to Dundee United.
St Mirren v Ross County (15:00)
St Mirren and Ross County are both on zero points before today's meeting but that, of course, won't be the case come 17:00 BST.
Neither one of these teams will want to become detached at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership, even this early in the season.
Rangers v St Johnstone (15:00)
Malik Tillman's impressive leap to score Rangers' third goal against Union Saint Gilloise on Tuesday has inspired a new game outside Ibrox this afternoon.
They've been queueing up for the Tillman Header Challenge in honour of the summer midfield arrival on loan from Bayern Munich.
St Mirren v Ross County (15:00)
Just one change for St Mirren this afternoon as Declan Gallagher drops out of the squad following his red card last time out.
Manager Stephen Robinson has drafted in Marcus Fraser for his first top-flight appearance this campaign.
Malky Mackay has made three changes to the side that were on the end of a 3-1 defeat by Celtic last weekend.
Connor Randall is out with an injury, while Jordan Tillson and Harry Paton drop to the bench.
Callum Johnson deputises at right-back, with Josh Sims and Owura Edwards back in the starting line-up in attack.
Livingston v Hibernian (15:00)
Scott Pittman equals Livi's club record appearances this afternoon, as he ties level with Keaghan Jacobs on 309 outings in a Lions shirt.
He is part of an unchanged side for David Martindale, who is happy with the XI that beat Dundee United last Sunday.
There's no Martin Boyle in the starting line-up for Hibernian - although he made a pretty big impact off the bench last week.
Jair Tavares returns from suspension with Paul Hanlon also in for head coach Lee Johnson. Rocky Bushiri misses out with a knock, whilst Josh Campbell drops out completely.
