Quote MessageI don't like astroturf at the best of times. The surface today is going to be absolutely awful. It's not been watered so it becomes a factor

On that occasion, it was a 4-0 victory for the visitors.
Quite a big turnaround in both squads since February 2021, with only four players from that match involved today.

Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland: "It goes without saying it was a tough start. I'm always at pains to stress that we don't look at the league table for the first couple of rounds of fixtures.
"The last time out here against Dundee Untied I was really pleased with the performance. I know we scored a late equaliser, but it was no more than we deserved. The performance that day gives me loads of encouragement.
"Last week, we were good in spells at Ibrox. Today's game, we're going to have to be happy out of possession at times. We've also got to show more of ourselves in an attacking sense.
"It's not beyond us to get a result today, absolutely not. I've told my players we should expect to get something from the game. If everything we've spoken about and worked on goes to plan, then we have a chance.
"There's enough experience in the team, who've played against Celtic many times and know the type of game it's going to be. We know we're going to have to be productive and clinical, and try and strike first.
"Plant that seed of doubt in their heads that they're not going to get it all their own way. But also to give my team and the supporters the oxygen to believe."

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou tells BBC Scotland: "European qualification sharpens you up pretty early, so I wanted to make sure that when the season started we were ready to go in the absence of those games.
"Pre-season was good in that respect, we tried to make it competitive. We need to remain that way because we know in a couple of weeks the games will come thick and fast.
"We had a bounce game through the week so the guys who haven't been playing got a 90-minute hit-out. Just for today, I thought the starting XI we have will give us good holding in the game and we've got good players who can make a good impact later."
[On the surface at Rugby Park] "It is what it is. We trained on our artificial yesterday, gave the players an understanding of the differences that might lie out there today.
"It's another challenge for us. We try to maintain our principles. play our football, and if we do that, dominate in the areas we want to, we should be able to overcome it."
