Frank Lampard needs a win, doesn't he? After all the stress and drama of the back end of last season, Everton wanted a nice, steady start to this campaign.

They came within a couple of minutes of losing a third Premier League game in a row on Saturday. They are hoping Demarai Gray's late equaliser against Nottingham Forest will be a turning point and stuff will settle down.

Lampard's gone for an experienced team to make sure that they do so. Asmir Begovic starts in goal; Reece Welch, who played in the FA Cup last year, gets his second senior appearance for the club.

There's the return of Seamus Coleman - his first appearance of the new season after injury - and Ruben Vinagre plays on the left as well, making his full debut and his first start for his new team.

Given the shortage of strikers at the club, you'd imagine they might want to wrap Salomon Rondon in cotton wool. But he needs games and leads the line tonight.

Bolton have sold more than 19,000 tickets for the visit of Aston Villa tonight.

New signing Mikkel Damsgaard makes his Brentford debut, as does goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha. Summer arrival Keane Lewis-Potter also gets his first start for the Bees.

Crawley Town boss Kevin Betsy has named four changes as his side host Premier League Fulham, having lost four of their five League Two matches so far this campaign.

Fulham boss Marco Silva has made 10 changes to the side which beat Brentford 3-2 on Saturday, securing a first Premier League win of the campaign and maintaining their unbeaten start.

Just the six changes made by Grimsby Town boss Paul Hurst from their 0-0 draw against Sutton Utd in League Two last Saturday.

Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper names a completely different 11 to the one that started the 1-1 Premier League draw at Everton at the weekend.

That means five debuts and all of the substitutes from that game coming in this evening with Cheikhou Kouyate making his first start for the club.

Bolton manager Ian Evatt has made six changes to the side beaten 2-0 by Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday - their first defeat in five matches.

Meanwhile, Steven Gerrard has named five changes after Aston Villa lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace.

Philippe Coutinho starts, along with Ashley Young, Calum Chambers, Douglas Luiz and Danny Ings.

Oxford United, who have eight players sidelined through injury, make six changes to their side for tonight's game.

Patrick Vieira opts for a relatively strong side for his team's clash with the League One opposition. Kaden Rodney and Killian Phillips are both handed debuts.

We have a total of 21 matches to entertain us tonight. For the second round, the Carabao Cup is still split into northern and southern sections, with 11 games today in the northern half and 10 in the southern bit.

All matches have to be settled on the day with the matches going straight to penalties if it's level after 90 minutes.

Six months on from Liverpool lifting the Carabao Cup trophy it is time for Premier League clubs to begin their journey for another attempt at trophy success.

We've already had the first round of this season's competition but now the majority of the top-flight clubs enter the fray, with all of those not in European competition playing this week.

Who will take their first step towards potential glory? And who could be on the end of an upset?
