Bolton 0-0 Aston Villa
Another chance for Philippe Coutinho, from Lucas Digne's ball, but his shot is deflected to the keeper
Fleetwood 0-0 Everton
Fleetwood are not going to make things easy for Everton and they have half a chance as Gerard Garner gets a shot off but it is blocked.
We've had a few matches get under way a little earlier this evening, but so far all three remain goalless.
It's already half-time in the earliest of the three, Walsall v Charlton, where it's 0-0. Shrewsbury Town are holding Championship side Burnley while it's also also square and 0-0 between Sheffield Wednesday and Rochdale just over 20 minutes in.
Wolves 1-0 Preston

Wolves' very strong line-up has paid dividends. It was good work down the left from Ait-Nouri, who squared it for Jimenez to slot home from four yards out.
Norwich 0-0 Bournemouth
Norwich thumped Bournemouth 6-0 in this competition last season when they were the Premier League team and Bournemouth the one in the Championship.
Now it's the other way around, but the hosts have seen a lot of the ball early on at Carrow Road, although it's still goalless.

Everton have been forced into a late change here: Demarai Gray, who got their dramatic late equaliser against Forest, has been propelled off the bench and into the starting XI because Tom Davies has picked up an injury in the warm-up.
Poor old Frank Lampard. You look at the injuries: Yerry Mina, Calvert-Lewin, Ben Godfrey, Andros Townsend, Andre Gomes. Tom Davies has had such bad injury problems over the last two seasons.
An Everton player has to pull out of the game again. Lampard finds himself continually down to the bare bones.
Grimsby 0-0 Nottingham Forest
Emmanuel Dennis should have his first goal for Nottingham Forest but misses from close range.
Raul Jimenez (eight mins)
The home side are ahead!
Wolves are looking for their first win of the season and this could be the competition to get them up and running as they take the lead against Championship Preston, Raul Jimenez firing in from Rayan Ait-Nouri's cross.
Colchester 0-0 Brentford
Mikkel Damsgaard is making his debut for Brentford and he has his first chance for his new club but sends his header wide.
Bolton 0-0 Aston Villa
Chance for Villa now but Philippe Coutinho's effort from outside the box is straight at the home keeper.
Cambridge 0-0 Southampton
Southampton have had the ball in the net and Che Adams thought he had opened the scoring with a smart turn and finish off the post. However, it has been ruled out because of a handball.
Oxford 0-0 Crystal Palace
Oxford keeper Ed McGinty goes into the book early doors for rushing out of his box and clattering Jean-Philippe Mateta near the corner flag.
Fleetwood Town 0-0 Everton

It's hugely frustrating for Tom Davies: you don't want that to happen after the hard work that he's put in all of last season to get himself back fit.
Hopefully it's just a minor knock or pull and he's taken a precaution and is actually OK. He doesn't want to take a gamble on the game.
Stockport 0-0 Leicester
Leicester are seeing plenty of the ball in these early stages and they have the first chance but Kelechi Iheanacho drags his effort well wide.
Bolton 0-0 Aston Villa
Early chance for Bolton and Oladapo Afolayan fires a low drive just wide from 20 yards out.
Fleetwood 0-0 Everton
Lovely ball by Seamus Coleman to pick out Ruben Vinagre but he is closed down quickly by the eager Fleetwood players.
Fleetwood 0-0 Everton
Decent crowd at Fleetwood, where the home fans will fancy their chances of an upset.
Nothing of note in the opening couple of minutes as both sides settle.
Stockport County 0-0 Leicester City

Were the season not at an embryonic stage, you'd think both clubs might welcome a distraction from their league travails.
As it is, this might be just the game to kickstart faltering campaigns. All the pressure is on Leicester: Brendan Rodgers could really do without adding defeat to a League Two side to his already-lengthy list of problems.
While his side shows 10 changes, it's still strong with starts for the likes of Youri Tielemans, Harvey Barnes and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Some of Stockport's best moments have come in this competition. That run in 1997 featured victories over four top-flight teams. A sold-out Edgeley Park will be hoping the class of '22 can repeat the feat a quarter of a century later.
A couple of games got under way earlier but the vast majority of tonight's Carabao Cup games are just kicking off now.
