    Liverpool 2-0 Bournemouth

Alisson races a good 45 yards out of his goal to deal with a through ball - and it's a good job he did as Bournemouth would have been in.

Very much a new age of goalkeeping isn't it.

It was a very accomplished finish from Gordon, he found the smallest of gaps to get round the keeper and finished it perfectly.

Surprisingly, despite all the noise around him, he looks very comfortable today.

Harvey Elliott certainly is enjoying himself out there today, after scoring his first Premier League goal.

A cross from the right goes awry but Jurgen Klopp standing on the touchline likes what his man (boy) is doing and heartily applauds the efforts.

    Man City 0-2 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are no strangers to this scoreline at the Etihad, they won 2-0 at Manchester City last season. Could they do it again?

Two attacks. Two goals. Wow. Manchester City have almost 80% of the possession in the opening 20 minutes but the away end is in full voice now.

Eberechi Eze's delivery for Joachim Andersen was right on the money. Crystal Palace are two goals up despite only having one effort on goal.

    Man City 0-2 Crystal Palace

Erling Haaland is not far off pulling one back as he runs onto a ball into the box. The angle is tight and his shot is into the sidenetting. Decent attempt, though.

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

After getting some on-field treatment Jonny Evans is able to continue, which is very good news for Leicester as they are already on the verge of losing another centre-half with Wesley Fofana's move to Chelsea reportedly close to being completed.

Chelsea's Conor Gallagher gets his name in the book, the first to be cautioned today at Stamford Bridge.

Are Palace going to do it again?!

They've only been up in City's box twice but they've taken those chances!

When you get an out swinging corner it gives you more power to the header and his timing was spot on.

    Anthony Gordon

    No wonder Chelsea want him!

Anthony Gordon takes one touch to steady himself and then fires across David Raya into the net.

But what a ball by Conor Coady to set him up. Absolutely delicious.

    Brighton 0-0 Leeds

Brighton are having all the chances. Solly March cuts in from the right and hammers a shot towards the near post. Illan Meslier scoops it up.

Harvey Elliott is having a party out there.

Nobody is picking him up, but his touch has been fantastic. What a game he's having.

    Liverpool 2-0 Bournemouth

Jefferson Lerma had a shot saved from distance a couple of minutes ago.

Bournemouth have had two shots on target in this match, higher than their season average of 1.6, I'm told.

    Joachim Andersen (21 mins)

    Header!

Two set pieces, two goals for Crystal Palace with Eberechi Eze the provider for both of them. This time his corner into the box finds Joachim Andersen, who powers home a brilliant header.

    Who saw this coming?

As mentioned, Roberto Firmino has two assists today but the Brazilian hasn't scored in his last 20 (Twenty) Premier League games at Anfield.

He has a very good opportunity to put that right today.

    Liverpool 2-0 Bournemouth

Jordan Henderson plays a through ball to Luis Diaz, but the Colombian just takes it too wide and is blocked.

This could be any score. Well not 1-0 to Bournemouth for example but you know what I mean.

    Man City 0-1 Crystal Palace

Manchester City have conceded three first-half goals in four games, only Bournemouth (seven) and Manchester United (six) have conceded more in the Premier League this season.

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

It's still all Chelsea and only an excellent sliding challenge from Jonny Evans on the edge of the penalty area stops Kai Havertz from being one-on-one with Danny Ward.

But it's come at a cost with Evans needing treatment on a foot injury as Caglar Soyuncu gets warmed up in case he's needed.

    Man City 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Steve Sutcliffe
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Manchester City have been completely on top since that Crystal Palace opener.

With Joao Cancelo hugging the left touchline and Kyle Walker tucking into midfield, Pep Guardiola's side appear very comfortable leaving two at the back against Palace's lone front man Odsonne Edouard.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Brentford 0-0 Everton

No goals but loads of action at both ends.

After James Tarkowski goes close at one end, Brentford counter and Mathias Jensen's attempt comes back off the post.

This is not going to stay 0-0.

  20. Postpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Liverpool 2-0 Bournemouth

It's non-stop. Roberto Firmino is playing like Lionel Messi here. He scoops a ball over the top to Mohamed Salah, who lets it bounce and then hits a powerful half-volley which Mark Travers tips over.
