A huge chance for Brentford who catch Everton cold.
Rico Henry plays a delicious ball into the path of Bryan Mbeumo but he cannot keep it on target.
That should have been 1-0.

This is going to be a long afternoon for Bournemouth, a stunning second from Harvey Elliott inside the first five minutes and the Reds are on their way to their first league victory of the campaign.
The crowd are really getting behind their side and you can feel some of that tension from Monday is being released.
Man City 0-1 Crystal Palace

It's fair to say that Crystal Palace goal was met by a stunned silence at the Etihad, well apart from the away supporters at the far end.
The Eagles were one of only four teams who City failed to beat in the Premier League last season and they were the only top-flight side who the champions failed to score against.
Could they do another number on City today?
Man City 0-1 Crystal Palace
Interesting to see what Palace do now, sitting back against Manchester City seems like it would be foolish with so long to go.
Manchester City have the ball but are yet to get into their rhythm.
Chelsea 0-0 Leicester
With Thomas Tuchel serving a touchline ban he's having to watch the game from a hospitality box.
Tuchel's Chelsea side have had 89% of the ball and should have just taken the lead with Ruben Loftus-Cheek found at the back post six yards out from Raheem Sterling's square pass but Danny Ward made an excellent save to keep it goalless.

Palace are not allowing City to have any time on the ball, they're letting City get to a certain area of the pitch and then they pounce!
Harvey Elliott (6 mins)
What. A. Start.
Harvey Elliott scores his first ever Premier League goal and the Reds are in cruise control.
Mohamed Salah runs down the right, cuts in and squares it to Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian's first touch isn't amazing and Elliott just shoots first time from 20 yards. It curls round the keeper and into the back of the net.

It is a brilliant header at the back post. The problem Bournemouth have got is Firmino plays as a false nine, drags back deep, centre-backs are not sure who to mark. Eventually Diaz gets to the back post, nobody near him at all.
Liverpool wanted to start fast. Boy, have they started fast!
Liverpool 1-0 Bournemouth
Liverpool into the top half as things stand...

The perfect start for Liverpool and the first time they have led in eight Premier League games.
Anfield erupts and that is more like the side they expect to see.
A real blood and thunder opening from Jurgen Klopp's men.
Chelsea 0-0 Leicester
England's Euro 2022 winners were celebrated at Stamford Bridge earlier.

Liverpool 1-0 Bournemouth
There is an offside check against Luis Diaz but...
THE GOAL STANDS.
John Stones OG (3 mins)
Well then...
Eberechi Eze's free kick is fizzed into the box and the ball bounces off John Stones' knee and into the back of the net.
Palace don't care how it goes in, they lead after three minutes!
Luis Diaz (3 mins)
Perfect start!
Liverpool have attacked for three minutes solid and they take the lead.
Mohamed Salah's cross is blocked so Roberto Firmino has a go instead. He finds Luis Diaz, who heads into the top corner.
Brentford 0-0 Everton
Lightning start by Brentford.
Great play by Josh Dasilva who lays it off to Aaron Hickey who almost catches Jordan Pickford off guard.
Corner to the Bees.
Man City 0-0 Crystal Palace
An early attack by Manchester City as Riyad Mahrez slips in Kevin de Bruyne on the right but the midfielder's driven ball into the middle of the box is smothered by Vicente Guaita.
Liverpool 0-0 Bournemouth
The ball almost lands to Roberto Firmino in the box but it runs through to Bournemouth keeper Mark Travers.

Liverpool need to get three points today.
Bournemouth have started with a back four, which is interesting. I thought they might go for a back five, but they haven't.
