Southampton are looking good now after equalising and, after Raheem Sterling loses possession just inside his own half, the hosts charge forward before Adam Armstrong bends a shot too close to Edouard Mendy.

There is a little spat in the Leeds box between a grinning Tom Davies and home goalkeeper Illan Meslier. The Everton midfielder kicks out to try and prod the ball from Meslier's grasp, who responds with a shove.

It's a yellow card for Davies.

It's a very similar goal to the one against Brentford. Lovely ball through by Iwobi, but's poor by Llorente, he gets his feet muddled up.

That really is a goal out of nothing for Everton.

They've barely been in Leeds' half. But now they lead.

Matthias Jorgensen gets his head to a ball into the box and directs it towards the far post where Ivan Toney stretches but just can't get a touch for what would be a certain goal.

A few chances but no goals yet. Both teams with lots to improve on.

Brentford have had five corners already but none of them have really troubled Crystal Palace as yet.

A game that ended goalless on both occasions last season is, perhaps unsurprisingly, goalless.

Marco Silva is puffing his cheeks. He's frustrated. Graham Potter isn't comfortable either. Both sides need half-time. Fulham look a bit lost for ideas now and Brighton are well below par.

First sight of Luis Sinisterra for Leeds as he turns his man in midfield and sets the home side away down the left. Pascal Struijk curls a cross into the middle but it is gathered by Jordan Pickford.

Bit of a scruffy start by both teams at Elland Road, but plenty of back and forth between the two sets of fans. Leeds supporters were quick to boo Frank Lampard as he made his way to the bench before the game kicked-off.

I'd imagine that Oasis hit might get a run out tonight if Everton go behind.

Despite Neal Maupay not being in the squad, he's on the bench in full tracksuit, which no-one at Everton wanted.

Anthony Gordon is annoying the home crowd.

He turns Rasmus Kristensen and is taken down for a deserved free-kick, not that the fans in here agree. He then grabs the ball after a free-kick is awarded to Leeds and throws it away to stop the home team taking it quickly.

This game is definitely lacking in quality. After a bright start from Fulham, it's really fizzled out.

Enock Mwepu sums things up with a wayward cross which goes out the far side for a throw-in.

Southampton are repeatedly getting left exposed at the back as Kai Havertz is found in loads of space on the left. He gets into the box but his shot is too close to Gavin Bazunu.

Southampton need to tighten up at the back or Chelsea will soon be out of sight.

Leeds are doing all the attacking in these early stages.

They win the first corner, but Brenden Aaronson's delivery is headed away at the near post.

BIG chance for Brighton. Leandro Trossard picks out Solly March who is unmarked in the box but he nods it wide of the left post. He got enough power on it - just needed to hit the target!
