    Manchester City 5-0 Nottingham Forest

Manchester City have scored five or more goals in a Premier League game for the 32nd time under Pep Guardiola, which accounts for 14% of their games under the Catalan (32/233).

It is more than twice as many such games as any other side since he joined (Liverpool, 15).

Liz: Perhaps selling 13 players and buying 19 wasn't the smartest thing for Forest to do upon their return to the Premier League?

Pete: No mercy for Nottingham Forest, another couple of goals now De Bruyne is on.

Some concern for Arsenal as Aaron Ramsdale is down on the ground and needing treatment to his leg. He's able to get up after a few minutes.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Wolves

    Oh Wolves should be ahead!

The visitors counter well and Raul Jimenez is played one on one. He dinks the ball over Neto but it goes just wide.

Sam: Anyone else wondering why Liverpool didn’t buy Isak instead of Nunez? Done more in 40 minutes than I’ve seen from Nunez all season.

Stephene: New manager, new owners, new players and now a new centre forward to celebrate at Newcastle. What a debut, Isak!

    Liverpool 0-1 Newcastle

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I expect that Liverpool have had a few words from the manager at half time. They'll come out a little bit sharper, they have to get better in the middle third and attacking third.

Liverpool have been forced to play through the midfield and they just haven't got it right. Newcastle are very well organised and Liverpool will have to do a lot more to break them down.

    West Ham 1-1 Tottenham

West Ham, buoyed by their second domestic goal of the season, go for another but Declan Rice's long-range strike is deflected wide.

  11. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 2-1 Aston Villapublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 31 August 2022

    Gabriel Martinelli (77 mins)

    That was quick!

Arsenal work the ball from one side of the box to the other before Bukayo Saka lifts the ball to the back post where Gabriel Martinelli drives a shot into the roof of the net.

    Lead. Restored.

  12. goal

GOAL - West Ham 1-1 Tottenhampublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 31 August 2022

    Tomas Soucek (55 mins)

West Ham are level. A long throw-in is played to Michail Antonio, who flicks the ball up for Tomas Soucek, who controls it on his thigh before slamming a half-volley past Hugo Lloris.

A really excellent pass from Antonio there. He'll no doubt have plenty to say about that in his next BBC podcast.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Wolves

Fifteen minutes to go in this one as Wolves come forward but Rayan Ait-Nouri sums up his side's luck in the final third as his shot hits his team-mate.

West Ham think Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is time wasting as he changes boots. David Moyes is furious.

  15. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 1-1 Aston Villapublished at 21:01 British Summer Time 31 August 2022

    Douglas Luiz

And Arsenal are finally punished for not taking their many chances!

The ball goes straight in from a Douglas Luiz corner. Arsenal are fuming because they feel Aaron Ramsdale was fouled but, after a VAR check, the goal stands.

  16. Postpublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 31 August 2022

    Arsenal 1-0 Aston Villa

Danger for Arsenal as Leon Bailey gets into the box from the right and let's fly with a shot that goes just over.

Aston Villa haven't had many chances so when they do come they need to make them count.

  17. Postpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 31 August 2022

    West Ham 0-1 Tottenham

West Ham lose the ball in midfield and away goes Dejan Kulusevksi down the right. He crosses and Son Heung-min shoots wide first time. Actually a West Ham defender got the final touch so it's a corner.

    The corner comes to nothing.

  18. Postpublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 31 August 2022

    Arsenal 1-0 Aston Villa

Unfortunate for Takehiro Tomiyasu as his low cross from the right is cleared but then bounces back off him and behind for a goal kick.

It does feel like Arsenal need the insurance of a second goal here.

  19. Postpublished at 20:57 British Summer Time 31 August 2022

    Manchester City 5-0 Nottingham Forest

It should be six as Riyad Mahrez latches onto a long ball and slots just wide.

  20. Here comes Kevin de Bruynepublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 31 August 2022

    Man City 5-0 Nottingham Forest

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

I feel sorry for Steve Cooper.

The Nottingham Forest boss is stood in his technical area with his arms folded trying to limit the damage.

And who comes off the opposition bench? Kevin de Bruyne.

At least Forest don't play City again for a while.
