FT: Leicester 0-1 Man Utd
Manchester United
Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag, speaking to BBC Sport: "We defended with 11 and we attacked with 11 and also there was a good fighting spirit on the pitch that brings us the score.
"I am very happy for Jadon Sancho. He scored many goals in pre-season, now also he scores against Liverpool and today. He is getting his rewards. But it was a team goal, how we built it up from the back. It was a transition moment, a good pass and finish.
"The defensive skill is the base for winning games. It makes you hard to beat. We have to stick to that. I know we can be better. We were already better than at Southampton. I am sure we will improve on that fact. Pressing also needs room for improvement.
"Casemiro has to get used to a different league. He has achieved everything that you can imagine. Now he is in a different league and we want to give him the minutes to adapt to that, to his team-mates and the style of football.
"Saturday [against Arsenal] is a real test for us. We have to be good, we know that. It is a good test to see where we are."

Sam: Anyone who slates Rogers are completely deluded! He's an excellent manager and if he leaves Leicester WILL go down.
Glen Burchnall: So. from what I can fathom, Leicester are basically resigning from the Premier League. Sell our captain for nothing. Sell our best defender for £20m less than he should go for and sign NO ONE. 5th, 5th, FA Cup, 8th, Relegation - needs an explanation.

Said Madrid: United wining ugly but winning ..that's the only way to get some confidence back. Ten Hag adapted well to the resources he has at his disposal.
Sho: Should've been much better in the final third with the openings we created and killed the game off but back to back away wins and clean sheets. I'll take it.
Andrew Mitchell: A big difference we’ve seen in Utd in the last 3 games is in their ability to cope with pressure. So often under OGS and Rangnick they were chaotic, at sixes and sevens. Against Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester they’ve been under pressure but maintained composure.
Leicester 0-1 Man Utd
Leicester City
Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers speaking to BT Sport: "We are disappointed with the goal. We were too open from the ball back - you have to close the game up in that moment. That's the naivety within the squad.
"The players kept going and gave everything but we lacked that craft and quality in the final third. I know we had James Maddison back, but that is not enough. They gave everything but it wasn't enough.
On the Manchester United goal: "Wardy [Danny Ward] has done great since coming in. When the ball goes back he needs angles from the centre-half and the centre-midfield player that can come back to pick the ball up, but when he chooses to clear it obviously he had to make sure he does that."
On their winless start: "I feel for them because they have given absolutely everything. With the greatest respect, we have not had the help in the market this team needed. But it is just a case of pushing on once this window closes. We just have to get the win, but if we show spirit and attitude I am sure it will come quickly.
On the transfer window: "It has been a huge distraction. It is destabilizing for the group and the mentality, but these are a good bunch of guys. Once we get the win confidence will grow and they will be fine.
"In modern football there is no empathy, it is what it is. We want to be competitive and we were tonight, but not good enough to take something from the game."
Leicester 0-1 Man Utd
Manchester United
Manchester united manager Erik Ten Hag speaking to BT Sport: "It is another step forward so I am happy with that.
"We showed good team spirit. We had 11 players the on pitch who fought for each other and scored a lovely team goal.
"Still, there is improvements to make but that is normal at this stage of the season.
"There were many spaces that we did not exploit that well. With better decisions we should have scored a second goal. We have to be more ruthless, but, as I said there is room for improvement.
On Jadon Sancho's performance: "Jadon had a good pre-season and you can see he can make a difference, but also the whole team can make a difference - I think it was a great team goal. I am also happy with the clean sheet. When we have 11 players on the pitch who can defend and attack together, and we have energy, you see what you can achieve."
On the transfer window: "We need a good squad and we needed numbers. There are a lot of games to cover. Once we have Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro getting fitter it will get better still - we need not only a team we need a squad. We will see with Anthony after training whether he is ready for Sunday. When there is a good opportunity, we have to strike but I think the building is closed - for now."

Leicester City
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers, speaking to BBC Sport: "I thought we were unfortunate to lose the game. The players gave everything. Their intensity and energy was good. We are disappointed with the goal, it was a little bit naive. We come out and the ball goes long. It left us open. The players kept going and we had opportunities. It is just a final bit of craft in the final third that we lacked. But I can't fault them for effort or mentality in the game. They gave everything. The spirit was there. We are just disappointed to lose a game we should have taken something from.
"JJ [James Justin] was great in the game. He made a great run and it is late in the game and sometimes technique goes when you are tired. He is disappointed as you want to hit the target. He was very good all evening.
"It is a poor start, that is the reality for us. We have circumstances that haven't helped us, that is for sure. We won't hide, I certainly won't as it is my responsibility. We need to pick up our results. The window closing hopefully brings that focus and mentality back as one. We keep fighting. We just lack quality and we weren't able to do anything about that in the window.
"There were enquiries for Barnes and Maddison early in the window. We couldn't lose too many. We were low in terms of depth and quality. Thankfully, they are still here. We needed two centre-halves ideally. With Wesley [Fofana] going we needed a replacement for him. Wout [Faes] is an experienced player, a leader. He will come in and give us that personality. We are delighted he has joined us."
FT: Leicester 0-1 Man Utd
Man Utd’s Jadon Sancho has scored two goals in his last three Premier League appearances, as many as he had in his previous 21.
All five of Jadon Sancho’s Premier League goals have been Man Utd’s first in the match, with four of those putting the Red Devils 1-0 ahead.
Is the former Borussia Dortmund man finally finding his feet at United?
Leicester City
Leicester City's Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall speaking to BT Sport: "We are disappointed and frustrated. Endeavour and hard work is there but we lacked that final bit of quality.
"We pushed to try to get the equaliser but it didn't come. We are just aching for the first win and then we can kick on.
"The lads gave everything and we were just frustrated not to get anything out of the game.
"No-one hates to lose more than me, but we are hoping we soon click and then confidence will rise because we know how dangerous we can be.
"We know we can do better and when we get that win we can go to the next level.
"We are putting in good performances but it is deadly in this league if you are leaking goals at the back and not taking your chances up front. It's fragile but still early doors."

Alex: Rogers is very good at inheriting useful squads but not so good at developing them. Record speaks for itself - Reading, Swansea, Liverpool and now Leicester.
Manchester United
Manchester United goal scorer Jadon Sancho speaking to BT Sport: "It was a great team goal and I am happy to get the three points for the team.
"I have gotten to know the players a lot more after missing pre-season last year and I am really happy to score.
"We hoped to start the season with two wins but that woke us up and I am happy to get the third win today."

Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
It was a comfortable win for Manchester United who, if anything, were guilty of not killing the game off by scoring the second goal. They have got to pleased with their night's work but everything is a little bit flat for Leicester. They need a spark and someone to stand up and drag the rest of their team-mates with them.
Leicester 0-1 Man Utd
Cheers from the away end, followed by much loader boos from those in the home stands.
United are up to fifth in the table after their third straight win. A foundation upon which to build.
Leicester stay bottom with just one point. Troubling times for the Foxes. This is their worst start to a league season since 1994.
Leicester 0-1 Man Utd
Time is up. We're into added time on added time.
Leicester 0-1 Man Utd
Big chance!
Leicester fire a long ball forward that Kelechi Iheanacho flicks on to James Justin. The full-back is in loads of space but fires his effort off target.
That could well be that.
Leicester 0-1 Man Utd
Chance!
Leicester drive forward and find Harvey Barnes on the left. He cuts inside and the ball is eventually fed to James Maddison for a shot from range that he gets under and fires over.
Two minutes of injury time left.
Leicester 0-1 Man Utd
Four added minutes.
Leicester 0-1 Man Utd
Oh, almost an own goal to make it 2-0!
Bruno Fernandes' low cross is clubbed by Kelechi Iheanacho towards his own goal and just over the bar.
